I used to take taurine back in the day to help me sleep along with gaba and l tryptophan. I stopped because I switched to magnesium for sleep. Fast forward 10 years and I started having troubles sleeping again. My sleep was all broken up over the course of the night and I couldn't sleep as long as I wanted to anymore. I remember I used to take taurine for sleep so I bought this brand. Wow after the first night I slept the entire night through without any wake up. I noticed I was waking up in the mornings fully rested as well. No more tired Ness or groginess. Even better I noticed a lot of my muscle pains disappeared. I can workout now and instead of waking up the next day with my body in pain, sore and my muscles all stiff. I was wide awake ready to go and I had no muscles or body pains. I looked up the benefits of taurine and I didn't know how beneficial it was until now. When I was younger in my 30s I didn't have to deal with all these aches and pains. Now in my 40s in feel like I'm in my 20s again. Word of warning these pills are huge and don't go down easy. I suggest you bust the pill and drop the powder into your food or into your drink. Every night if I try to just swallow te pill it'll get stuck in the back of my throat.

I want to start off by saying that the only reason I started taking this is that even though I’m physically fit and eat really healthy, I have genetically high cholesterol. I’m trying to lower it myself before resorting to medication, so taurine was suggested to me. I was not expecting to feel anything from it, I was just concerned about lowering the cholesterol. However, after a week of taking it (it’s been two months now), not only is my energy super high, but my mood is soooo greatly improved. I would struggle a little with minor depressive episodes, and now I don't have them at all. And it’s not placebo effect because I didn’t even expect to feel anything from it. Also, I have ADHD and while it hasn’t rid of the barrage of sounds and visual stimulus overload I encounter on a daily basis, it has gotten rid of the anxiousness it causes me. I can stay completely calm and clear-headed, and I’m now enjoying going places like to the grocery store or restaurants, which I hated before because of the sensory overload. I Googled the effects I’m feeling, and a lot of people said it helps for them too (I even double checked on ChatGPT lol). But there were a few people who didn’t have the problems I live with and started taking it, and they had the opposite effect. So I would just say to try it for like a week or two and see how it goes. Give it at least a week to kick in. I haven’t retested my cholesterol yet, but even if it doesn’t help that for some reason, I’m going to keep taking it anyway.

This has been phenomenal for pain relief. It’s anti-inflammatory and it even relieved nerve pain without making it worse afterward. I’m really grateful for this. I think it cleared up my mind a little also but L-carnitine is what clears my brain fog. These both together have me questioning my life lol.
