At first annoying as it was too high volume for notification even, after reducing volume. The volume for conversation even on loud speaker is too low. Only had phone short time still trying to get used to it.

I can't say I've heard of Xgody before but when I was offered this phone I was curious to find out how an affordable smart phone would perform.In the box you get the phone, screen protector(as well as one fitted), micro USB charging cable, and some documentation. Packaged separately there is a USB charger which is a nice touch. The phone is quite large and fairly heavy. It doesn't feel premium but it doesn't feel cheap either. Mine had finger prints and some dust on the rear. The can take two sims and an micro SD card.Once powered on the screen is reasonably bright and fairly clear. It isn't the highest resolution or the most dynamic but much better than you would expect at this price point. The phone appears to be loaded with a Android 10 go and it's surprisingly responsive. Media playback is ok though the sound is limited. Call quality appears to be good enough. Though it doesn't appear to support VOWifi or VOLTE.An interesting budget phone from a brand you've probably not heard of. I have some questions about the quality and how long it will last. But despite this it is far better than you would expect.

This Xgody x18 4g phone came very nicely packed in a box. The box not only contains the phone but also some accessories such as an adapter and usb cable to charge the phone, screen protector and phone case. Everything you need to start using phone straightway.I usually first order screen protector and a case for my new phones before using them but this phone comes with these.So the phone is quite large , especially due to the body design it looks big. The phone is very tough and strongly made, which is ideally for someone who uses a phone daily.The phone is easy to set up and easy to use just like other android phones. It has all the functions and app store to add the apps of your choice.The camera quality is also good, 8mp and 5mp takes nice photos and videos.The best thing is that it is unlocked so you can use it with any simcard.I don’t need a phone for work currently so use this phone for my toddler to watch youtube . Great for kids because the screen size is quite big.Just little bit slower than other phones I have used.overall great phone and definitely recommend it.

This Xgody 4G phone is excellent value for money. It is great for a novice or someone older. The phone is fairly lightweight and is so easy to use. I had a little trouble inserting the Sim card as it kept falling through the holder. The solution is to insert it in the second section of the holder (of the three) with the gold part of the Sim downwards, and the white part upwards. It does fit snug when you have it right. Use the supplied pin to open the Sim card drawer. It pops open easily.Charge the phone for a couple of hours. Hold the on button until the phone comes on, the other button on the phone increases and decreases the volume. It is like any other smart phone, it works by swiping up and down, left and right, and has preinstalled apps like Google, messages, phone, contacts, YouTube, twitter, tiktok etc. You can download more from the Play store. Set up your wi-fi and you're good to go. If you can't find this go to settings and click wi-fi. A press of the small triangle button at the bottom of the screen, will take you back to the home screen every time.The settings allow you to change the ringtone, set your touchpad options, wi-fi and data usage etc. The phone is good quality for the price, it takes a decent photo and video and stores them in the gallery. You just long press on them to delete the photos and video. It's all very straightforward. The screen is a good size and nice and colourful.The battery appears to be good and lasts for a decent amount of time. The bluetooth is easy to use and there's a torch too. The phone comes with a nice plastic / rubbery see-through case that protects the back of the phone. It also comes with extra guarantee, a charging lead and a little pin to open the Sim drawer. No Sim is included, you need your own. This phone is excellent value for money and is easy to use for someone older or a novice. It has all the features of a much more expensive smart phone.Highly recommended.
