Well written, easy and helpful read.
Love this book! All the best for being written by a 16 year old (no more accusations of being a nagging parent as someone their own age is telling them the same thing!) Clearly written, covering everything you need to plan for revision, set goals and decide how best to approach your exams in a way that will work for you. An easy read, not in any way patronising. I love the author's aspirational approach, he really makes the reader believe they can achieve. My daughter has really enjoyed the book and it has helped her to think about how she can organise her approach to her exams so as to minimise stress and maximise her potential.

Works magic
I bought this for my sister for her kindle and she read it before she went to sleep that night. The next morning she has cleaned out my desk and was using it as her revision station. She's devised a time table that now suits her, which to me looks pretty complicated but it works for her and for the first time in a while she has actually sat and done revision for more than 5 minutes. I know that this book has helped her a lot and I can't wait to see her results!

reccomended by daughter
Only real disappointment with this book is that (in common with other ebooks I have purchased) it has been poorly prof read. The errors still present should have been picked up by anyone seeking to present a manual of work at this standard.Robert makes several key points most important of which is that the self-motivated, hard working and methodical student will do best. There are horses for courses and each individual needs to discover what type of learner they are: how their memory works. To that end he outlines many different methods and their strenghts and weeknesses. Some of the references to online sources of revision, especially in the Languages section do not seem right. I was unable to find the web site quoted. For all that, this book deserves to do well as the encouragement and straight talking is just what is called for. I couldn't help thinking, as I read, that not much has changed in 50 years; as echos of my parents advice came straight off the page!
