What color is the release?

It is silver with green if you want a different color you have to goto a different post. My daughter wanted Teal so I had to buy it from another company.

Yes, several things can be adjusted with the right tool (which the release does not come with.) The thumb post and 4th finger position can easily be adjusted. There is a 4 sided sear in the release mechanism which can be adjusted. This gives you different click options. (How long it takes the release to activate) You can also adjust the hot/cold setting. (How sensitive the release is.) Personally, I've never help a more comfortable release. This things feels amazing. The problem is the adjustment. First off, it takes an extremely small Allen wrench to adjust which they don't provide. I own multiple sets of Allen wrenches and this size was smaller than anything I had. Second, after I got the right tool, the sear would constantly slip when applying draw weight.

I am seeing reviews that state that this particular release is not a "one size" fits all release, and is small sized. Is this the truth? I hope not.

I would say that this release is standard sized. As in the same size as any normal release you find on the market. I have a Carter First Choice and have tried a Tru Ball HBC. Both fit the same. There is another Sear that is small/junior, however.
