Soll Wellness Purifying Himalayan Salt Lamp - Hand Crafted with 15 Watt Bulb and On/Off Switch

I was so excited to order this after reading the positive reviews. However, this lamp arrived broken. Very disappointed. A piece at the bottom was cracked and a large portion fell out upon opening the box. There were little brown spots all over it which made it look dirty. I bought this to help purify the air and for a soft golden illuminated glow. This brand’s salt lamp lifespan is advertised to last 4 years. I may possibly return it because of the broken piece and brown spots. Two pictures included.**Update**I returned this because the small stand/lamp plate isn’t durable enough to provide adequate support to this large hunk of salt. The entire lamp plate/stand is poorly constructed and falls over very easily. A broken off piece (upon delivery) made the rest of it very lopsided and wobbly. The third picture displays how the entire lamp came apart. Notice the two small, rusty wires meant to hold up the salt piece. This brand seems low quality and I do NOT recommend it.

I love my new salt lamp. I'm using it in my office both for the ambiance AND the air purifying qualities. Flu season is in full gear. My salt lamp at least gives me a little boost of protection, for whatever it's worth. I was also (pleasantly) surprised by the size. It is a perfect desk lamp.The only negatives I have are the fact that the one I received had clearly already been opened by someone. The box inside the Amazon box was in tatters. The lamp was fine, it was just sloppily packaged. Also, the screws on the bottom of the lamp looked like they had soaked in water for awhile before actually being used. They are very rusty. This surprised me since it is allegedly new.Regardless.... the packaging did not affect the product and no one can see those screws. It works, it looks awesome. I'm happy.

The purifying salt lamp is beautiful. It adds a great ambiance. During Christmas time, I'm one of those people who love to turn off the lights and just stare at the Christmas tree with it's lights on. But the other eleven months of the year were left out, not anymore! This lamp is perfect to just enjoy with all the other lights off. It's a bonus that it purifies the air around it. It was a lot heavier than I expected it to be. Honestly, I was waiting for it to do something once you turn it on. Maybe mist like a diffuser or the lights move or it makes a noise. Nope, it's not that kind of lamp. It just has a soft light to it when it is on, but otherwise you don't notice it is there.

When I first opened the package, I was a little worried, since the box looked like it had taken a beating. I guess that makes sense...there's a good bit of weight to this thing. However, the plastic shrink wrap around the lamp itself held everything together very well. The bulb was already installed, which was a good thing, since it would have never survived outside the protective shell of the salt lamp. It fired right up, and puts out a surprisingly large amount of light for what it is. Definitely just ambiance lighting though. This seems like an excellent deal for the money... I've purchased salt lamps before that cost about the same and were half the size. You can't go wrong with this one.

I love this lamp because it makes my room look complete and it was affordable. It is heavy and lights up my room, I tend to keep it on throughout the night and turn it off during the day to save energy but you are really supposed to keep it on most of the time which is something that I did not know. I love it and the packaging was a little tough to unwrap it but that was due to the fact it stayed intact when i received it. It is a great staple piece that i believe everyone should have in their homes/offices

Lovely lamp (about 9 inches tall) with fast shipping, but bulb burned out the next morning after first use (about 1 hour). See photos. I had to buy a new 15W light which cost $4.29 so you may as well buy a more expensive lamp with a bulb that lasts. Corrosion is normal for a true salt lamp (screws on bottom of plate were rusted), but I'd hoped for at least a few weeks with the original bulb! Seller did not respond to email.

I absolutely love my lamp! My daughter in-law had one and I always thought it was pretty, then she explained that it is supposed to help purify the air too. My mom lives with me and she does have respiratory problems, so I figured I just had to have one. I'm not sure if it helps yet, I just received it, but even if it doesn't it's a beautiful light.

Good lamp, the salt is of great quality. Lightbulb went out after two days so if you buy one be sure to get extra bulbs. Another issue is removing the bottom to replace the bulb. Diagram online shows that you should be able to pull the fixture from the salt but I had to unscrew the electrical components from the stand to replace the bulb.
