StansportPressure Regulator Tube Stove to Propane Cylinder

This was a great replacement for my Camp Chef Everest camp stove. The original regulator failed on my camping trip, and I got by with a Coleman regulator that just slid on. This is the factory replacement, and works great.Stansport/ Camp Chef also makes a flexible regulator that is far superior to this one. I elected to buy that one for regular use, and save this one as a backup. I use a propane tree, and extension hoses rather than the the 1lb single use propane cylinders.

Pretty straight forward product.Needed to replace my Jet boil regulator on the half gen, so I got this instead of the much more pricey brand name replacement.Works good so far and have no complaints

Ordered 16 psi and received 10 psi for second time. Does get best performance from my stove.

Threads on stove end are finer than the Coleman regulator, which makes it a little difficult to get install started. Fits my 21" Teton Mountain Series Camp Chef 2 burner stove. Plenty of sealant used on brass tube connection to tank fitting. IMO, this Stansport regulator is a little better quality than the original Camp Chef reg. No leaks. Cant say if it fits all CC models but I would guess that it would. Amazon offers free returns on these if there is a problem with fit.

Finding it currently impossible to obtain this replacement part officially for the Camp Chef Everest stove, I noticed the similarity between the Stansport and Camp Chef stoves in pictures (most noticeably, the top cover is stamped identically, turned 180 deg) and the fact that both are made in China, surmising both from the same factory. Upon arrival I confirmed that indeed, it fits the Camp Chef (the Coleman equivalent's nut threads are slightly different and thus incompatible), functioning with no leaks; 4 stars because the stem appears to be pressed and glued into the regulator body. Coleman's stem and regulator are threaded and securely screwed together.

I can "2nd" the notion that it works on a Eureka stove. I got my Eureka Ignite Camp Stove from an REI store in the garage sale area for about 1/4 the regular price of $124.95 but it did not have a regulator. I ordered a Coleman regulator but it did not work. This one did work and I'm so happy about it. Now my little cabin has a stove that works and I can boil water for my herb tea!
