Sails,sea and scintillating action.
Another adventure with “Hayden’s crew” more mayhem and good storylines that are filled with action and little twists to keep you guessing. A great character means a great read. This is definitely a series to follow. Thank you for an entertaining few hours.

You Can't Put These Books Down. Compelling Writing and Addictive to read.
I have had the pleasure to read all four of the Charles Hayden books one after the other and was gripped just as soon as the action went shipboard.I thought the introduction chapters in "Under Enemy Colours" where we first met Charles Hayden were a little staid and convoluted, but as soon as Charles set foot aboard H.MS. Themis, Sean's writing soared and I have been captivated throughout all four books. Not only do I recommend "Until The Sea Shall Give Up Her Dead" I advise those of you new to this series to buy all four and lose yourself for a while in The Royal Navy as a contemporary of Nelson.Sean's story telling is immaculate and all four books are addictive you simply can't put them down.

A great read
I love this series, and pre-ordered this book as soon as I was able to. I really enjoyed it, reading it all the way through the day I received (which happened to my day off :-) ). I won't talk about the plot, but it is action packed like the others in the series.I would suggest reading the other books first, as reading this one in isolation could leave you confused about some characters/references.

The first three were excellent, gripping tales
This is the 4 book in the series. The first three were excellent, gripping tales. This one was disappointing and held nothing of interest. The hero Hayden should have stayed in the European area he was not as dynamic a character as before possible the author was trying to find a 'buried; treasure. Maria Probst

Excellent!
I am an avid reader of this type of book, a great follower of Julian Stockwins books. I came across the first of the Charles Hayden books and read it in a day! I have since read all of the series to date in less than 2 weeks. That says it all really. This last book was, in my opinion, the best so far. Can't wait for your next book as Captain Hayden must have many more voyages left in him.Keep up the good work Sean

Brilliant Novel
The fourth in the Captain Charles Hayden series, couldn't put the book down, twists and turns all the way. The descriptions of handling ship and sails combined with the winds and turbelant seas, together with an exciting storyline made this one of the best historical fiction series I have read. And I've read most. Cannot wait to set sail again with the crew of the Themis and an obviously downhearted Captain Hayden after his sad loss. Looking forward to your next book Sean, " if you please ".

Sean Thomas Russell has carried all of his strong characters into this fourth book with such ease thus continuing the natural flow of Hayden,s story. Thank you for another interesting and fast moving tale that is so easy to read.
