Is this mounted on a cement foundation? the shock loads over time with any substantial drop are tremendous...

Thanks for your question. Where possible we recommend that the supply pipe is fully buried at a depth of 60cms, and where not possible that the supply pipe is anchored with suitable concrete anchors along the length. We do not anchor the pump itself but generally advise that there is a concrete base and chamber to keep the pump safe from the environment. Obviously for small heads the shock loadings are small and the pumps would operate with very little anchorage - but we prefer to advise for any situation.
