Best hoover I have had in years, great suction, so easy to swap to using the hand tool and very lightweight.

I like this vacuum very much. It's light and manoeuvrable and has a mode for hard floors or carpet. The hose could be longer, and I wish it had a brush attachment as well as the nozzle. The nozzle slides and clips on nicely, as opposed to just a friction fit. The button to release the hose is hard to push and release, but I expect that might loosen over time. The cannister is easy to release and empty. Suction is great. Overall it's a good vacuum.

It took me a little time to get used to this kind of vacuum cleaner because it's a very different way of use than a regular one. It's also quite heavy, so for older people it might not be very good. But now that I'm used to it, I can't imagine living without it. The suction is great, it lifts so much doghair out of the carpets, it's very good for pet owners. The carpets look brabd new after use. It's also easy to empty and clean, and after a few weeks of using this Hoover I haven't had any hair tangled in the brush yet, unlike some other brands. The cord length is good but never long enough in my opinion, so I use an extention lead. I love the fact that you can disconnect the hose and use it with the accessory tool, it reaches quite high. You do need to manually stretch the hose with your other hand to prevent the Hoover from falling over, but as soon as you get used to that, it's very handy. I've only used it for a few weeks now so I don't know how long it's going to last, hopefully a good few years.

We've had this Hoover for just over 5 weeks now. It's performance has been outstanding. It's quieter than our old Vax upright and is good for picking up bits like cat litter between the carpet and the skirting board. (Mostly using the brush bar & not having to use the crevice tool.) Easy to manoeuvre and keep clean with the washable filters. The excellent reviews for this model in 'Good Housekeeping' were accurate and true! The anti-tangle brush bar is a boon too. Would highly recommend!

Extraordinarily easy to put together from its delivery in an impressively robust cardboard box - which is protective enough that damage to contents within would be incredible, if occurred. But do read the excellent graphic instructions before doing so. The biggest surprise was the ease of use, the clever design of its few parts, and its lightness … compared to an old Dyson which I cannot now carry upstairs. This Hoover vac is a most excellent buy ( £125 ) and means that, after decades, the Dyson can be given a peaceful rest. The one shame; this is made in the PRC per a small identity plate on its bottom. Which is China. Perivale’s loss!

Deceptively described as 'lightweight', it is quite big and heavy and awkward to manoeuvre, the swivel action takes getting used to. The attractive feature is the detachable section which makes vacuuming stairs easier. Would be better with more than just the crevice tool. Good suction + not too noisy. Good value.

Good vacuum cleaner: powerful & easy to manoeuvre. Also convenient on the stairs with the portable function. Only downside is that I am finding it a little heavy, but I was used to a smaller hoover so this may be a question of getting used to it.

The Hoover is working fine, but there are NO ACCESSORIES for this Hoover!!! What you will get is one big brush and one narrow one for corners. So forget to hoover your sofa with this one!
