This is excellent. I have been looking for a decent shaving cream for a while now and after my first use today I am very impressed. I use a cartridge razor and I got very little resistance when shaving, a very smooth glide, and an impressively close shave with absolutely no irritation. The cream also smells absolutely wonderful and a little goes a long way. I would say you only need to use a pea sized ammount, and you don't have to use a brush to apply it. The bottle says this is a 90 day supply and if this is the case it is extremely good value. Given the small amount required to shave, I think that it could well be 90 days worth. I am very impressed with this and I will certainly be purchasing it again.

I thought I'd try this being new to DE shaving and thought with over 6000 reviews, mostly positive so many people can't be wrong. I can happily report they are not this enables with only a small amount of product a lovely slick smooth protected shaving experience. Everything written in the description is true. It's now my main shaving cream and I've stopped looking for alternatives. This is the one! Update: one month and one week since the purchase I'd personally struggle to make this last three months as indicated, its possible I'm using too much never the less I have a few shaves left I'll monitor usage and reorder in a few shaves time. Update: OK I tried a brush with 1cm of cream and enjoyed the most amazing lather and more lubricating than the soap I tried, so yes with care it might just last 3 months I can't fathom the negative low star reviews about this product I find it exceptional. 6 weeks later I re ordered it's my go-to shaving product, Fi Al update I suprised myself as I found an e en better product

Recently returned to retro safety/DE razor shaving after many years of higher-priced hipster mail-order UK multi-blades. This shaving cream does not need a shaving brush/bowl, too much equipment when half-awake or travelling, just rub a small amount into your face. Nice smell. No nicks (clue is: it's called a safety razor) and does not leave your face feeling dry. Better than Kiehls 'White Eagle' I have used for a while, which is normally more expensive (unless you are ripped off) and seems frequently out of stock worldwide.

This is a fantastic shaving cream. It doesn't foam or lather too much. But the shave is precise and feel luxurious. A very good product.

Forget the lack of lather. This cream is amazing and will make your blade glide like butter on your skin. I wish it came in a compact jar since it's so thick coming out of the tube but looks nice and works great so no complaints! Will definitely re-purchase.

Tried many creams, foams, gels and oils but this is far superior. The cream is easily rubbed into beard using fingers. No thick foam but a coating that lets the razor effortlessly glide across your face. After a pass, I rub some water over face and can make a second closer shave without any drag, cuts or nicks. This will be part of my shaving routine for the foreseeable future.

Feels like top quality stuff but at the end of the day doesnt reduce any nicks and burns at all, infact its cold so after warming up your beard i dunno who this would help over soap which might be less cold. Also you have to apply a lot more than say a gel so this also will not last as long.

I never thought I would be writing a review on shaving cream, however this product deserves praise. Let me start by admitting that I have not tried very many different shaving creams in my lifetime. Although I do have fairly sensitive skin, more so when I was in my teens and twenties, I just never really put much thought into the type of cream I used. I always believed that the type of razor mattered most, and thus I always gravitated toward the latest and greatest Gillette had to offer, finally settling on their Fusion 5 blade razor. As for shaving creams, I have always purchased the gels from Gillette or Edge. I have used foams from time to time but never really cared for them and only really used them if I had to purchase a travel size of if they were provided at a hotel. I began researching different shave creams/gels when I decided to purchase bulk toiletries on Amazon and a simple search for shave creams returned more options than I had time to consider. I quickly narrowed my search down to some shave soaps and this product based on reviews alone. All of them had excellent reviews and probably all would have been worthy of purchase, however I did not have a badger hair brush so I decided to give Cremo a try. The price point on Cremo was much more attractive than the soaps and only a few dollars more than the gels I had been using. The Cremo arrived a week ago and in that time I have shaved three times. I followed the instructions to a tee, choosing the hot water with a cloth option since I do not like to shave in the shower. The Cremo Cream lathered nicely on my skin, almost invisible but not so much that I couldn't tell it was on. It lubricates my skin exceptionally well and permits my razor to glide smoothly allowing an extra close shave. I apply Cremo twice per shave, the first time so that I can shave with the grain, then I apply it once more and shave against the grain. Rinsing off the cream was very easy and fast, and my skin felt very smooth to the touch and refreshing. It also has a very nice smell which I have come to appreciate. The verdict for me is that the is a very satisfying shave cream and I definitely will not be going back to the gels that I used in the past. One more thing I really appreciate about this is the tube it comes in. The gels I used in the past came in pressurized containers that always ended up messy and sometimes even rust would form on the canister no matter how hard I tried to keep them clean and dry. The squeeze tube that Cremo comes in is very easy to keep clean and it does not ooze out after use. For those who are interested, I used this cream with a Gillette Fusion 5 blade the first two shaves and a Edwin Jagger DE89 Lbl for the last shave. While searching for shave creams I stumbled across double edge razors and decided to try one out. You can see my review for the double edge under the Edwin Jagger DE89 Lbl. I have only shaved one time with the Edwin Jagger and I already know that I am sticking with it. The Edwin Jagger combined with the Cremo Cream was the best shave I have ever experienced. I now know that creams and razors matter and only wish that I had considered these great products years earlier.
