Not your average tower fan
Beautiful fan. Not loud at all. Wonderful low settings for sleeping comfort. I have been buying a new tower fan every year because I live in the south and use it all year round. The old-style blade fans get nasty, you have to take them apart to clean them and then they get loud (you know the drill)...BUT this fan? Game-changer! I will save and purchase and replace all my old tower fans with a Dyson one—may take a while because of the price. I hope it lasts as long as my DC17 animal vacuum—which still runs beautifully and is 15 years old!

Greatest product!
I can’t say enough about the Dyson fan. I do not have air conditioning in my home. As we all know summers have been getting hotter each year and for longer stretches. I bought my first fan around 4 years ago when working from home during COVID and we had a particularly long stretch of oppressive hot weather. I then bought a second fan and now have three. I’ve recommended to friends who also have purchased. They are good looking and work in any decor,an extremely quiet. I especially like the fans with the air filters in the base. Filters are easy to switch out and can also be purchased on Amazon. Overall I have not found anything wrong with this item and worth the higher price over other cooling fans.

Amazing machine
It’s a Dyson product, so (a) it’s expensive, and (b) you get what you paid for. Quiet but powerful fan, highly directional and concentrated. With a remote that you can stick to the top via a magnet.Last summer was a scorcher here in New England, and like most old timers we scoff at air conditioning, so this was a lifesaver. Only problem was my wife took it over for her personal comfort so Ima buy another one for me.

It’s okay…
The media could not be loaded. I’m going to be completely honest. I have always wanted one of these fans since I remember seeing it in the store and now that I got a little bit of money saved up, I decided to buy one. I was thinking for the price. It was going to “blow me away” it moves just a little more air as a normal tower fan. Where the traditional tower fan blows more of a jet or stream vs this fan blows more of a wide airflow. Also, coming from owning another tower fan. The receiver for the remote is at the bottom of the fan. So if you can’t reach the receiver from, let’s say laying in bed, you can’t control it.Now, it was super easy to put together. Other than that, so far. It’s just a basic tower fan. It may be easier to clean down the road. Because I have a dog and the air pick up is at the bottom. So it’s going to pick all the loose air and dust.Overall, it’s a nice fan. With a bigger price.

Great option
I love Dyson and this fan is amazing. We have an office in my house that faces the sun and in the Summer time it gets so hot. This fan is awesome to have because it cools it down really fast. I love that it’s also blade less so I don’t have to worry about my kids touching it.

No one knows sucking or blowing better than James Dyson
I’ve been telling that joke since he used to be in the commercials for the vacuums, but this fan has really taken it to the next level. It blows. In the best way, not the pejorative.I have a second floor home office with a window on the west side. In the morning it gets great light, but in the afternoon, it gets great heat. I was wilting in the afternoon, in April, in Chicago. Ahead of summer, I decided I needed a fan.I love this thing. It moves air really well. On the first power level, it’s a light breeze that actually cools the room in direct sunlight in about ten minutes. And it’s quiet on 1. On 4, it starts to get a bit loud, and at 10 it’s working hard and very loud. I haven’t really run it for any length of time above a 4 because it works so well.Things I might improve on it: maybe a metal base to make it a bit more substantial, though the light weight makes it kind of portable. It could also have a wider swing, out to 180* would be better. It maxes out at about 135*, which is good but 189 would be better. The remote has a narrowish window to hit, and is the only control for it. If the fan is on the floor, you have to be intentional about aiming it.And it’s kind of expensive.Hope it lasts, but it’s been two weeks and I’m in love.

Great fan
We've been wanting one of these for a while now but didn't want to spend the money. When Prime day came around, it was $120 off, so we decided to get one. I love the sleek design, and it puts out a good amount of air (not a CRAZY high amount of air), and it's pretty lightweight. The remote sticks magnetically to the top of the fan so it doesn't fall off, but the remote is small and easy to lose, so keep that in mind. We bought this primarily to keep in our dog's bedroom (yes, you read that right) so she can have good air circulation. However, on nights when I'm sick and need to sleep downstairs, this is going to be really handy to have since that bedroom doesn't have a ceiling fan.
