DC 12V 1/4" Solenoid Valve, N/C Normally Closed Inlet Water Solenoid Valve with Quick Connect

Product works great as described. Used it as part of a system to tap into my water cooler.

I cut the connector end off the 12V 750mA adapter that comes with a modem and spliced it in plugged it in and it works great. It doesn't matter what end is positive and negative. Water stops when power is removed. I purchased this to pair with a water flow meter to start and stop R.O water filler and calculate usage.

It works well, but I need a Normally Closed valve. The one I've got was normally open. Can't use. In other review they complain about valve getting hot at 2.5 Amps. 2.5 Amps is too much for this! It is 12V 4.5W - max 0.4A! I tested this valve with 12VDC 1Amp, it got a little hot. That's because too much current!

通常閉、ノーマルクローズの表記がありますが、違います。 通常開で通電すると閉まる構造です。 使用目的に合わないので返品しました。 同じ形の品物が多数出品されていますが、みな通常閉となっていますがたぶん違うと思われます。

I had originally ordered a valve that looked just like this, but had a different brand name. I got 2 that didn't work. Then I took a chance and ordered one of these. It worked perfectly on the first try. I use it in an aquarium filling system.
