Great product
Life saver after shoulder surgery. Once cleared by my surgeon I could use this in the shower and routine daily use. Very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. The mesh was much cooler than thick sling I had. Made recovery more tolerable. Nice materials and construction. Wore it for 6 weeks after surgery.

Highly Recommend - Drys Fast!
This sling offers excellent adjustability and dries very quickly. As a helpful tip for others: if your sling setup includes a block to keep your arm positioned away from your body, our surgeon recommended purchasing this mesh shower sling and using a pool noodle of similar width (pool noodle widths vary by color). We cut a blue pool noodle to match the length of the block and placed it inside the mesh sling alongside the arm. Both the sling and the pool noodle dry quickly. We have followed this setup for 4weeks, and the combination of the mesh shower sling and the custom-cut pool noodle has worked perfectly.

Inexpensive shower sling
Use for showering and in protected areas. Dries quickly. Inexpensive. Con; must expand go over head and readjust e ery time. A snap release would be better.

Light weight support
Worked well for me after Rotator Surgery. Glad I found it for those days when I still needed support but not immobile. Easy to get in and out of so I could let the arm rest on my lap when I sat down but able to slip it on to get support when I got up to walk.

Perfect for showering! Easy to use
When I had a broken arm. I didn’t want to take my sling off when I’m taking a shower and saw this mesh sling. Wow so perfect for shower to keep my arm in place and also perfect to have - very comfortable and handy. Easy to adjustable

Very secure but somewhat cumbersome and uncomfortable
I recently had surgery on my arm. Two of the restrictions were to not get the incision site wet for the first two weeks, and to not allow my arm to fully extend (IE keep it bent). Once I was given the OK by my surgeon to shower, I bought this sling so that I could support my arm. Right away, I can tell you that the sling works but is a bit cumbersome to wear. It covers a lot of the arm, which makes washing it difficult. It also isn't very comfortable. My arm will be swollen and sensitive for the next few weeks, and the mesh doesn't feel very good on it. I tried using it once and decided to go a different route. The best solution I got was from my surgeon. She gave me a few long rolls of gauze and told me to make a simple, makeshift sling for my arm. You take a length of gauze, tie both ends together to make a loop, put it around the back of your neck, and loop it a couple of times around your wrist. It holds the arm immobile enough to keep it from getting injured, but it leaves most of it uncovered so that you can wash it. It's also WAY more comfortable, at least for me. Definitely not as secure, but in my case I don't need the extra support. I prefer to have my arm more exposed in the shower. Because I wore a wound dressing and Ace bandages on my arm for two weeks after my surgery, the skin was quite dry and still covered with pre-op iodine solution. It took several days of light scrubbing with a loofah to get rid of all of it and to remove the dead, itchy skin. With the mesh sling in place, I could rinse my arm with water but not really wash it. Once I went to the gauze sling, I had full access to my arm and was able to really clean it and apply lotion to soothe my dry skin. It feels normal again. I'm glad I tried this sling and I will keep it with my first aid supplies in case something happens in the future. I hope I never have to use it-- I'm about as sick of surgery as anyone can be-- but it's useful to keep around just in case. It definitely has its place if you need to securely immobilize your arm while you shower or bathe, or perhaps in a field first aid kit if you have the room. However, if your arm only needs moderate support, you might be better off with a makeshift sling that exposes your arm more and makes cleaning it easier. It's actually a pretty good sling, but I'm docking it two stars mostly so that anyone looking to buy it will consider what kind of arm support they really need before making a purchase.

Made showering possible
Should have ordered before the surgery so I would have for first shower. Had multiple rotator cuff tears repaired. This goody makes taking a shower alone possible! Only suggestion I have is that it would be nice to have way to keep the elbow in (I am using a binder clip at the top at the moment). The thumb piece is okay but the elbow still slides to the front. This was a life saver for me. Fits well, pretty adjustable, dries quickly, great value.

Much more comfortable than the hospital one. Convenient, can be used to shower, dries fast. The arm rest better because it enveloppes it entirely. Plus side you probably could start a fashion trend in a goth club with it ;)

Bought this sling as an an alternative to the one issued to me by a&e for a shoulder injury which was too hot to wear comfortably. Thumbs up from the physio too. I am an average sized female and had the adjustable strap at the shortest level so not so good for small people
