Q: Can you oil this filter

The Air filter is Dry Type and made of Synthetic Cotton. No need to oil. It is washable and reusable. You can just wash the filter every 5000 miles with soap and water. You may use the cleaning kit for Dry Filter from AEM if you want. Let the filter air dry completely before put it back to the intake system.

This air filter is universal type. It is not specificly designed for certain vehicles.

Q: what is the cotton's pore diameter( largest dirt size that passes through the cotton)

They don't give that info. I do not frive in heavy dust aeras like Las Vegas that a real fine dirt would be blowing around the desert. But it works o my old ford diesel as a double filter
