Formed in Japan in 2010, BABYMETAL have grown from the seeds sown by band overseer KOBAMETAL and evolved steadily into one of the most powerful musical phenomena in the world today. Backed and supported by some of the finest metal musicians their native land has to offer, SUMETAL, YUIMETAL and MOAMETAL began their mission to unify the world through Heavy Metal. BABYMETAL’s success in their native country Japan led to Top 10 singles in the Oricon chart in Japan, performances at several major festivals in Japan, including Summer Sonic 2013 and two consecutive sold out nights at Tokyo’s legendary Budokan venue in March 2014, in front of 20,000 people. Eventually, BABYMETAL’s reputation had crossed the globe and was beginning to make waves in Europe and America too. With video clips with over 25 million views, the band became a sudden and huge internet phenomenon, leaving pop and metal fans around the world in no doubt about the magic and might of this new musical force. BABYMETAL made their first world tour, traversing continents to perform at the celebrated Sonisphere festival in Knebworth, England (and won over a vast fi eld of 65,000 diehard metalheads in the process), were invited by pop icon Lady Gaga to support her on her prestigious ArtRave: The Artpop Ball tour in the US, and played various sold out shows throughout Europe and in New York. “LIVE AT BUDOKAN: Red Night & Black Night Apocalypse”“showcase four live performances extraordinaire. In March 2014, BABYMETAL performed in front of 20,000 people at legendary Budokan venue – setting a record for being the youngest female fronted band to ever sell out Nippon Budokan on two consecutive nights. Both shows are arranged with a crystal clear sound thanks to the mastering by acclaimed studio guru and multiple Grammy winner Ted Jensen of Sterling Sound. 2015 finally saw the offi cial album release of BABYMETAL’s debut in Europe – a release that made waves all over the continent. What started with a cover story in prestigious Metal Hammer UK and full length features in all major European magazines, found its peak with being awarded “Breakthrough Band” at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards 2015 and The Spirit Of Independence Award 2015 by Kerrang! magazine. Followed by celebrated live performances at this year’s Reading and Leeds, a surprise performance with Dragonforce at Download Festival as well as sold-out Europe shows, this year’s success is now being completed with the release of not only one but two different live releases including performances from four nights. Review: It's Babymetal - Its great! :) Review: Put Your Kitsune Up! - Excellent for BABYMETAL fans. The picture quality and sound quality are both very high. A good live DVD/Blu-ray that conveys their energy and fun atmosphere. It was also nice to see the Kami Band feature quite prominently - with instrumental interludes and outrageous solos, something I particularly enjoyed being a fan of guitarist Leda (Deluhi, Undivide, Far East Dizain). Highly recommended for all Babymetal fans. This live Blu-ray actually contains 2 concerts held at Boudokan on 2 separate nights. The listing on desertcart currently states that one is 7 tracks and the other is 15 tracks. This is actually incorrect as the first concert is actually 13 tracks long - giving a massive total of 28 songs. Quite a bargain for the price. Both concerts are on a single Blu-ray disc. For clarity, I've written the correct set-list below: Red Night 01. Megitsune 02. Doki Doki Morning 03. Gimme Chocolate! 04. iine! 05. Catch me if you can 06. Uki Uki Midnight 07. Rondo of Nightmare 08. Onedari Daisakusen 09. 4 no Uta (Song 4) 10. Akatsuki 11. BABYMETAL DEATH 12. Headbanger!! 13. Ijime, Dame, Zettai Black Night 1. BABYMETAL DEATH 2. Iine! 3. Utterly Bonkers
Utterly bonkers, but probably the most feel-good fun you'll ever have watching a metal gig. The constant energy (and no little performing skills) of the girls is a joy. They may only be teenagers, but they have a high level of professionalism, best demonstrated when Yui takes an unscheduled tumble off the stage, but is soon back in the action, while Su and Moa had continued the show without missing a beat. The Kami band are excellent too - their instrumental interludes show off their own talents while giving the girls a welcome breather. All together now - Yon, yon! Yon, yon! Yon, yon! Yon, yon! :-D

This is a superb and good value package
Bought this after seeing the band live from the back of an arena and not being able to see the action clearly enough. This is a superb and good value package. 2 concerts featured, similar sets but in a different order with some song variation but most importantly a different stage show for each. Thoroughly enjoyed watching and would recommend if you want to understand why Babymetal are so intriguing and popular. If you're already a fan this is a great live package, you won't be dissapointed.

Two spectacular performances of Japanese "metal" group, Babymetal, in their younger days.
This is a recording of the original line-up of Babymetal when they were in their mid-teens. A strange and somewhat Japanese idea is the mixture of a heavy metal soundtrack (played by the excellent backing band) and these "cute" (Kawaii) girls singing (in Japanese) and dancing along - but it works. They are all very talented but the pressure of their emergence into international stardom later got to be too much for one of the group, Yui, who left. The other two (lead singer Su and backing singer Moa) are now international stars in their twenties, performing with a new third member, Momo, to their huge legion of fans around the world.

Amazing Shows!!
Amazing! And that goes for both shows included on this, although I personally preferred the Black Night show. If you're a fan of the band and of Live music, this Blu Ray is an absolute must have.
