So fabulousππ₯ππ₯
Another terrific addition to the Interstellar Brides series! I find it I love these Legion men of Rouge 5. Styx is the leader of Styx Legion his second in command is Blade They are best friends and share everything when he sees Harper on Zenith station he knows that she will belong to both of them. Harper is a medic, ER trauma nurse from Earth she's out here in the middle of nowhere because she volunteered for duty in the coalition. She just lost a friend who battled the hive and wanted so down time and a drink. What she got we two of the sexiest males she's ever seen who tell her straight that she is their mate and they want her to belong to them as they will belong to her. They attraction is instant the passion is fierce but the hive and other dangers stop for nothing and no one. They must fight danger and betrayal to find their happily ever after! Fantastic read finished fit in one sitting I love this series !π₯ππ₯π₯ππ₯ππ₯ππ₯πππ₯π₯πππ₯ππ₯ππ₯π₯πππ₯ππ₯ππ₯π₯πππ₯ππ₯ππππ₯π₯π₯π₯πππ₯π₯ππππ₯ππ₯π₯π₯πππ₯π₯π₯π₯πππ₯π₯π

Wow! I loved everything about this story. The storyline, action and the characters. Grace continues to surprise as well as provide her winning technique. All good and familiar. The play between the main characters is warm and fun. Don't stop Grace.

more like this please!
I really enjoyed reading this book. While I don't enjoy insta-love books... if I had any complaints about this book I would have to say that it would be Harper taking so long to except her mating with Styx and Blade. Not that I wanted her to accept it right off the bat.. but I did wish she had sooner then what she did. I'm not really sure what was holding her back in the first place. But I was glad when she finally caved in and completed the mating with her men.I absolutely loved how protective and caring both Styx and Blade were with Harper. They knew she was in danger and were determined to take her where they knew they could keep her safe. I have to say I was kind of surprised that Harper didn't kick up a fuss over that. After what had happened to her I was expecting her to. Her only objection was to question if they were sure she would be safe there.

Uhm, yes please, more Hyperion guys!
This was easily my fave in the series, including it's spin-offs.The plot is a fairly standard "who's after my mate" typical of this author, but the change of location/culture/personalities made it feel fresh, not just a Prillon duo knock-off. And it's awesome.Characterwise, finally, finally, *finally* we get a heroine who isn't a pretty pretty princess locked away for her good. Thank you lord. I know that some of the other ladies didn't start as such (lookin at you, Sarah) or didnt *completely* end up that way (Kristen) but I was so.damn.sick of stupid heroines running away-ish for some stupid reason (even if most of them aren't entirely written as the dumb damsel in distress). Harper knows what she is (a medic, not a fighter) and the one time she starts shooting, it's to protect a the wounded patients, where her choice is 'stand by and wring your hands or grab the gun'. She doesn't go off to solve the mystery herself, she doesn't hide away/insist she go with anyone into battle. Seriously, I cried tears of joy at having a normal person. She doesn't come full of raging insecurities or having been entirely alone all her life or signing up for a bride program and the shocked at the thought of having sex. She's not even a bride - she's a Coalition medic who's attracted to this dude, has someone try to kill her, and said dude says "I'm familiar with these guys, you can come with me cuz I know what to look for, or stay here where they don't, your choice." Like I said, normal adult woman who makes a logical choice knowing what it means. Thank you lord.Styx and Blade are the author's default alpha males, realizing that she's not a pretty pretty princess, that such a person couldn't deal with their world/lifestyle, while also recognizing their need to protect her because she *doesn't* know their world. They're upfront with their sexual preferences while also making sure it's ok with her ("This is what I'm goingto do - if you have an objection, now is the time to say so") while still maintaining dominance. Speaking of which... I'm so happy Harper wasn't all "this kink feels so good but I'm bad for liking it and spend half the book berating myself". Not that there was seriously any kink involoved, especially compared to the other duo/trio books. They playfully smack her on the butt once or twice, threaten to turn her over their knee one time, do the position that every 2+ does, but mostly it's verbal commands (no restraints, toys, or anything). In fact, I wouldn't even, in this day and age, call this "kinky". It's entirely personality - which isn't to say it's not hot! The initial hallway scene (heck, both of them)? Uhm, yes please, more? All in all, this series was kind of getting stale for me from lack of variety. Introducing new aliens, new locations and new types (outlaw pirates instead of good guys, yay!) revved it back up. Hey author, let's do something REALLY crazy and add an alien female to the mix, whadaya say? I nominate Silver and a human smuggler dude. C'mon, there have be some humans who have gotten their hands on a spaceship by now.

Least favorite Grace Goodwin book
As an avid steamy Regency/Alien romance reader (1400 titles in my Kindle Library), I don't lightly say that GG & the Interstellar Brides books are in the top tier of my all-time favorites: however, not this book. I see that the reviews are sharply divided, so here's why I think it compares poorly with the others. There's lots of repetitive dirty talk (btw, big fan of dirty talk), but it feels rote & generic because the MCs felt kinda like strangers to me & each other from the beginning to the end. GG is written by a duo but their vision nearly always is executed in a strong, singular voice: not here. It feels like neither writer had a clear, dominant vision of the individual MCs, so what turned up on the pages feels generic, not personal. The first time I felt like GG phoned it in.

Unadulterated drivel
When I began reading I believed this story would be more interesting than the ton of alien romance books which churn out the same story in various ways. The main female, Harper, was a paramedic in war torn space; a good start I thought. This thought soon rapidly declined. The alien who claimed Harper at the beginning had only met one other Earthling prior to her, yet the sexual language in his dialogue was the coarse vernacular commonly used...just like other stories. Harper has no character at all, she just goes along with everything she is told. Another 2D human female with the personality of a wet kipper. There is absolutely no real description of these aliens except for their hair and the fact that Styx ( her mate and clan leader) is a look alike for an actor on Earth. The story line comes a poor second to sex scenes which are so repetetive and uninteresting. Do authors have no literary imagination or talent at all when it comes to writing romance, that they are all clones of one another and churn out second rate, badly written scenes? They must all read each other's books and just re-hash other drivel. The plot mentions a mission to rescue Harper's work colleagues. The mission takes place, the rescuers return ( without any mention of the colleagues ) and Harper doesn't even ask after them because yet again she's wanting sex.

A Let Down
In recent years there has been a trend to write in the first person, supposedly to make the reader feel more involved in the story. It is a trend I personally detest, as I find all of the "I, I, I...s" very distracting. Sadly, this is one such book. There are 3 main characters and the story is told from the perspective of each of them. The upshot of which being that "I" can refer to anyone of them, depending on the focus of the story at the time. Given that I read at night when I am tired, I found that I regularly lost track of who was speaking and kept having to look back. I also found the language rather crude. It a shame really, the plot had a lot of potential but there were so missed opportunities. I won't be reading any more in the series.

Not a good book for new widows!
This book is almost soft porn, and if I had known I would not have started reading it. It brought up the physical side I missed after more than 45 years with my husband! It is well written and the storyline makes sense

Brilliant
I loved this one, I liked the fact that she hadn't signed on to be a bride, but they found her anyway. And the ending with the legion meeting was fantastic. Got quite emotional.
