Does the job but there are drawbacks
I used this product to cover a tattoo around the top of my arm as I am part way through getting it removed and we were going to a black tie do that I was wearing a sleeveless dress to.I practiced 3 times before the day and glad I did, it takes a while to get the technique and match the colour.I found the product quite messy to use, it got everywhere during my practice runs.On the evening I used it for real I gave my self at least half hour to apply and the finished result was reasonably good, I could see a slight colour change in my skin where I hadn’t matched the colour perfectly but I don’t think you would see it unless you were looking, it was also night and there was low lighting which helped. The tattoo stayed covered all evening although once home I did notice the product had come off on both my leather jacket and my partners tux, at the time of writing this we haven’t managed to remove itGenerally I would say the product does cover a tattoo but it is quite difficult to use and easily transfers to fabric, I am not sure if I will use it again

so it's 'invisible' it's been great! It took a while to learn though
Once I learnt how to mix the colours to fit my skin tone and how to apply it, so it's 'invisible' it's been great! It took a while to learn though.

Time consuming
It takes so long to apply I gave up and wore tights. It didn't look like it would cover my tattoo anyway ( it's all black ink) and after 4 applications I could still see the tattoo. Don't waste your money

Be patient, it does work!
Not quite as easy as I'd hoped, but got there in the end! I'm going to the Royal garden party soon, so didn't want my foot tattoo on display and thought I'd take a punt on this. I've probably got five or six layers on my tattoo and it's covered enough not to be noticeable. You need to kind of stipple the concealer on, don't do brush strokes like you're painting or it just spreads too much. And apply plenty of powder by blotting and not rubbing in between each layer. Also use your fingers to help blend the colour on top. Always apply it in sunlight as the colours don't show the same in artificial light.

Best product on the market!
I was meeting my boyfriends parents for the first time and they are very conservative. Wanting to impress (and actually embarrassed about a stupid teenage tattoo on my hip), there was no way I was going to be able to get away with covering up as they live in Spain. I bought two kits, one lighter and one darker as I knew that my skin colour would change with the sun. After reading the reviews I made sure I practised and so was quite careful and conservative about mixing amounts and drying times. I personally had no problems with it and was happily surprised to know that the darker version also worked! I would say that if you are not prepared to blend and mix correctly then this won't work as well, but if for example you treat this as you would when applying make up on your face to go out, then it will definitely do the job. I was abit paranoid about it coming off in the water or sweating (when we went for a family bike ride) but it also stayed well put.Thoroughly recommended and good luck!

Maybe not so much of a secret...
I bought this kit in preparation for an interview, in order to cover a small tattoo on my wrist (about an inch and a half long and half an inch wide). I had read some -limited- reviews on other websites for the product, but seeing as there are not many other tattoo concealing products around, I decided to take the plunge.I practised using the product the night before my interview, which, I have to admit, did not go too well. I found it very time-consuming to blend the creams and apply and in the end i gave up after about 30mins -even though my tattoo was still quite visable. The morning of my interview went a lot better, however, and it was a lot quicker to blend and apply the creams. I still have to do about 10 coats, alternating the two base creams. At this point the red in my tattoo was not visable at all, but unfortunately the black was still noticable. I continued to apply to base creams, occasionally adding some of the finishing powder to try and get the make-up to stick. After another few coats, i moved on to the blending creams and tried to mix a colour suitable to my skin -the area around my tattoo was noticably orange-r than the rest of my arm! I also hoped that it might conceal the rest of the black in my tattoo. After another 10mins or so of blending, I took a look at my work. My tattoo was concealed! Well, I would say about 90% concealed actually, but if someone didn't know it was there, I really don't think they would have noticed. The final step was to apply a healthy dose of the finishing powder -which I did, and overall it looked pretty damn good! So far so good! Now to the car journey...on my way to the interview, I noticed that on my jacket sleeve had make-up residue on it, and looking at my tattoo, I realised that the concealer was rubbing off -making my tattoo more noticable as the journey went on. By the time I got to the interview, I thought that there was no way that I could take my jacket off, because the black was showing quite visably through the concealer cream. This is my main problem with the product, as it clearly says 'up to 24 hour coverage', when unfortunately it was barely 24 minutes before it started rubbing off on my clothes. I would perhaps chalk it down to not using enough finishing powder (which is meant to make the concealer water-resistant and rub-resistant), but I applied a very liberal amount, due to the fear that it may rub off before I got to the interview.Although I have to add that by the end of the day, while my tattoo was very visable through the cream, there was a considerable amount of cream still left on and around my tattoo -which did not come off with soap and water as stated. I instead had to use make-up remover, which took the remaining product off sufficiently.Another thing to consider before buying the product is what size your tattoo is. As I have said, it took me around 30mins in my practice run and 20-25mins the second time to fully apply the concealer to a tattoo roughly an inch an a half long, and half an inch wide. I also have a rather large koi carp on my thigh, and I dread to think how long it would take to cover it, never mind how much of the creams it would use!Overall, the product does what it says on the tin -it conceals tattoos. However, the length of the coverage was an issue for me, as by the time I got to my interview, I felt that my jacket sleeve covered my tattoo more than the make-up itself. Perhaps practice will make perfect or maybe combined with other products to prevent the cream from rubbing off onto clothes, but for the price of this product, I would have expected my -small!- tattoo to be sufficiently covered for a couple of hours. Unfortunately, my tattoo isn't so much of a secret with this product.
