Tronco 20oz Glass Water Bottle with Silicone Protective Sleeve and Bamboo Lid - BPA Free

I have recently moved from reusable plastic water bottles over to using just glass ones and I'm glad that I did. Plastic bottles overtime would get cloudy, have a smell, and even start molding. I would spend a lot of money on a high brand plastic bottle only to replace it 6 months later because I couldn't thoroughly clean it. Didn't matter if I would spend a lot of money on a bottle or very little, I'd still have to replace it.I have been using glass bottles for quite awhile now and I have been loving it! I have one for the house and one for travel and this is my travel one. The glass is made well, the protective sleeve on the bottle gives it a grip and keeps it safe, and the wood looking cap gives it a sleek design. Before I purchased this item I did read through the reviews so I was aware that their is a problem with the wood top separating from the plastic bottle cap. Because of this I don't hold onto the handle that is on top of the cap and by avoiding this I have not had a problem with these two pieces separating.The only complaint that I could have about this bottle (which is a very small one) is that you have to be careful when screwing the cap back on because sometimes it will screw on crooked and if you don't realize it and set it on its side it will start leaking but this is an easy thing to watch out for and when it is screwed on correctly it does not leak at all.

I had this bottle for about 2 weeks or so when I accidentally knocked it off a standard height desk and it hit the hard floor and shattered. I received an email from them asking about my experience and I said it broke. They responded and said that they were sending me a free replacement bottle! That is amazing customer service right there... made my day. Just know that if you do break yours, they will be happy to help. I really like this bottle (the lid always feels a little crooked when screwed on, but it stays leak free.) Just keep in mind that it is glass under the rubbery grip and it will break especially if it lands on the top.

The bottle looked great but there were other issues. The top didn’t seal properly, so it always leaked when you bent the bottle. The openning was too wide so it was weird to drink out of and impossible to do it while driving or on the move. The bottle fell off my short coffee table on top of a heavy plush carpet and broke in pieces. That was the end of the bottle after one week.

Looks nice and simple but I wish I could take off the silicone cover to wash it thoroughly. The outside catches lint and it's a bit annoying. Also, since the cover does not fully wrap around the bottom of the bottle, water gets trapped in the crevices inside the cover and I have to push paper towel into the crevices to clean it. The enamel on the wooden top is cracked too and it's not too attractive. Does the job and looks nice while doing it but definitely would not purchase again.

Sleek looking bottle. However, The Bamboo lid is not lock tight. If you flip bottle upside down or tilt, water starts to leak from the grooves and lid.

Avoid this bottle, glass mouth shattered within 2 uses. Splintered glass all in my hand, awful.
