Did what I needed it for
For the price, this was a great product. Just FYI, if you want to use it to add a strap to a floppy sun hat like I did, it isn't long enough. BUT my genius other half, took the pliers apart and after making a hole in the hat, put the grommet through the hole and positioned the grommet on one half of the pliers and placed the other half of the pliers on top, placed a piece of wood underneath the hat and the grommet and used a hammer to finish it and it worked perfectly! But overall, this is a great product for the price!

Way Smaller Than 1/2”
These are supposedly 1/2” diameter grommets and the ID is not even 3/8 of an inch. These are way too small. They need a more accurate description. I’m sending these back.

Very easy and comfortable to use
Used it to add some eyelets to the back of this dress to make it a lace up back ! And it worked perfectly!!

Worked well for what I wanted..
I used this eyelet pliers to put two eyelets in my hand carry portfolio so I can put a strap on it so I can put it on my shoulders freeing up my hand for my phone or my iPad.. it did the job very well I practiced with a couple eyelets on a old leather belt so you know how to place the eyelet on the pliers.I use two eyelets back and front to strengthen it holding on the edge of the leather portfolio... for the price it's much cheaper than buying a portfolio with a strap and I didn't like what they had selling, this worked out really great for me.. just practice with the pliers before you make your final punch hole.
