I wanted a clock for my nightstand that didn't have a bright light and that I didn't have to touch a button to see the time during the night. This clock does exactly that. The soft light stays on all night, its muted but I can easily see the time. My bedroom is dark and restful - love it!!! The numbers are a bit large and I'm not vision impaired, but its not a big deal. I haven't tried the alarm because I don't need one.

This clock is awesome. I got the black and love the SILENCE..., which I could not believe. It does glow softly in the dark, perfectly, it's light enough to see it, but not horribly bright. It has a nice look, nicer than I thought it would be. Does not look cheap, just simple. Pop the battery/s in and there goes! Love that I don't need to recharge it with any cord... even off my Mac would be annoying for me. Was $15.99 and well worth it! I've returned so many clocks to Amazon, both digital and battery ones. This one is the charm. (Dont use the alarm so can't comment)

I love this old fashioned style clock. What I love most is the gentle warm colored backlighting, so I can see the time after I begin my evening lowering of my livingroom lamps. It is not too large or small. Very easy to set up and use.

Almost a 5... great size, easy to read, looks great. The light senor is a great option and works very well. Longevity/durability is still in question. The problem (at least for me...) is it is not silent as advertised. There is a noticeable whirling/grinding noise that can be heard in a quiet room (about the same level as a ticking clock). Having this on my bedstand did not work. Some might not notice or care about the noise but it is there.

LOVE that the face is so large and easy to see. It is quiet unlike some clocks that tick tick tick. Great little clock.

Useful features. Alarm starts off quiet for light sleepers, then volume increases in case you didn't wake up. Dial has a light glow on the beside table, so you can tell what time it is if you wake up. But it is not so bright you can't sleep by it. I don't like the alarm on'off switch on the side so much, but you can silence the alarm til you find it with the button right on top. Lightweight construction, so if you knock it off the table once it will be broken. Still, I prefer it to the more durable Westclox due to the quieter alarm, and no ticking, plus lighted dial. Both are made overseas, of course.

Works fine. The light is dim and yellowish—good if you want dim light. I’d hoped for a little brighter, but it’s still a good little clock. Alarm is good-ascending, not too loud.

Great clock, large enough to see easily and with the back lit light great to see at night. Nice and quiet. I love it! It is everything I wanted in a bedside clock.

the alarm clock is easy to handle big enough to find it in the dark by just reaching out for it. Numbers are big enough to see and it has a pleasant look to it .easy to read the time on it and the ring is just the right volume

This little clock is a perfect addition to my bathroom. It glows slightly at night, so is easy to read.

This clock has been dropped many times, but it keeps on tickin' Keeps good time, makes absolutely no noise. Very good buy.
