Review of an egg slicer?
I’m only writing a review on this egg slicer because it’s so nice. Over the years my wife has bought many plastic egg sliders that never lasted long as the wires would come loose and then you’d have to throw it away. All stainless steel fairly heavy and works great. I expected to last a very long time. The only issue with having it all metal is that the hinge will squeak after a few washing. A little vegetable or in the joints and it’s like brand new. Stop buying plastic sliders and buy this thing it’ll last your lifetime.

For eggs only!!!
Initially I thought is was a great product. It seemed to be built sturdy. It sliced eggs beautifully but when I tried to slice mushrooms and it broke. If you want just an egg slicer it's fine but I wouldn't recommend that you try to slice anything else.

Sturdy
I used this egg slicer to prepare peaches for freeze drying. It worked perfectly. Very pleased with durability and ease of use. Nice weight. Not flimsy. Would purchase again

Much better than the plastic one I had
Someone had given me a plastic egg slicer that was pretty bad. The wires didn't go all the way through, the egg got stuck everywhere, and you could place the egg in only one direction. I tossed it out and bought this KITEXPERT model and I'm much happier. It makes clean slices in both directions, it's sturdy, and egg "crumbs" don't build up. Easy to clean. Do not buy plastic slicers because they just won't be as good as this one.

Smartest Purchase I’ve Made
I purchased this because I was tired of buying these plastic and wire egg slicers from be box stores and they beak after 2nd or 3rd use. This one is prefect / heavy duty, great quality and made to last.
