Caring for Your Baby and Young Child: Birth to Age 5 5th Edition

Bought this book for my niece and her new husband. They are both highly educated, independent people, so I was fairly certain that a book written by doctors would appeal to them. Read a few pages before giving it to them. The narrative is written with a gentle, personal approach. No scolding and no "pap". They were delighted.

You want a book that will answer all those little question you want to know with out running your children to the doctors office all the time, then this is the book for you. I love it and refer to it often.

I like this book, it's very thorough, detailed but at the same time has information I need. It is used and in a very good condition, as I was hoping it would be. Thank you!

I really like this book. I call it the baby handbook. It will answer most of your questions well enough. its helped me asleep at night. =0) I recommended for all parents.

As a first time parent this book probably has everything you would ever want to know about raising a child but there's one problem. It is overwhelming and isn't great when you want to quickly research something. I am excited that it goes to age 5.

Although I haven't completely read the book yet, I've glanced through and found the information to be helpful and insightful for new parents. I plan on utilizing as much information as I can from this book.

The book is quite informative and insightful however you can see that it goes in one direction and doesn't give you different point of views. But it's generally a good one.

Easy to read, and follow, advice from a professional body that has experience in taking care of millions of children. Follows an age based review of all the needs and developmental steps and then has special sections for diseases and some behavioural issues.

It was a very good starter. Very practical and helpful. It can give you an important hint, a kick of, when thιngs get stacked.
