I use this with a GH5 and short lens and the handle grip attachment and the stand works perfectly. Read a review questioning stability of this item with cam load and so far, with heavy professional use, I have no reason at all to question stability.This item came feeling heavier and sturdier than I expected it to in all honesty. I use it as a stand as well as an extension grip and am really very satisfied. Strong build, solid product. If it does ever break on me, at this point, I’d reorder the same one vs chance anything else. Expected a cheaper plastic feel like other below-market-price items but this one is genuinely a deal!

BUY IT OR YOU'LL BE SORRY!
I would highly recommend this. I’ve had it for 4 months now and it’s still very stable and durable. I mainly use this as a desk tripod for my GH5s. Recently I’ve discovered it’s niche as a push and pull stick for my skater dolly. I never write reviews but I thought this little hidden gem deserves it! 5 stars

Great solid quality of the metal
Great solid quality of the metal. The Allen bolt that holds the legs on and taut loosened up once but I tightened it down. Hopefully, it doesn't loosen up again while I'm out on the field.

It holds up anything with a camera mount
Works great if you need that one angle. Also makes for a great stabilizer when folded.

useful piece of equioment
Does exactly what I needed it for!!! creates a stable base for my 3axis gimbal and even a ballhead for low angles. Fits in my bag/cases/pocket!!!!!

Words well with Zhiyun Smooth-Q
Using as a base for Zhiyun Smooth-Q. Works well and worth the cost. Haven't tried on my SLR, but it feels very solid and sturdy.

What could be more banal then a mini tripod. But if you are like me, you’ve had more than a few mini tripods that weren’t worth packaging they were shipped in. This little stand is being used with my Zhiyun Crane with a Canon T3i. It is extremely sturdy and the build quality is better than expected. Very pleased with this item.
