Fred FUNNY SIDE UP Owl Egg Mould

Great fun for kids

Iv'e bought this for my Grand daughter as a surprise as she loves owls so I can't really give it an honest rating but it certainly looks good.

A fun way to serve eggs , though they can stick to the mould even following the instructions , and a little awkward to get the yokes as the eyes with large eggs.

It is well designed, and made from quality materials. But it can be tricky ensuring the egg albumen doesn't leak where it isn't intended. There is no doubt it is possible - but be prepared to make several 'roadkill' eggs before you master it.However, it is a spectacular way to serve eggs, and children love it!

If you buy medium supermarket eggs, this is fine, if you have 'proper' locally sourced eggs that tend to have much bigger yolks, they can be a bit big for the eye holes. The first time we used this the yolk built up so much pressure it exploded out of the mold.

I've often eaten fried eggs and thought to myself, this meal has something missing, this meal needs some kind of connection to my favourite nocturnal animal. Now I can combine my love of fried eggs with my love of Owls, a dream fulfilled!

Excellent product kids love it makes making eggs more exciting item is made of good quality would recommend to anyone

My kids love the eggs I made from this mold (and also the Fred Skull Egg Mold too). I tried to use the mold using the instruction provided, but some of the egg whites were trapped by the eyes and were totally undercooked while the the rest were overcooked. After a few trials and errors, this is what I started doing (which made perfect eggs almost every time).1. Heat the nonstick pan and the mold for about 30 seconds. Spray the mold and the with cooking spray.2. Crack eggs in a small bowl (I use Costco extra large eggs for the mold), and scoop out the egg yolk with a large spoon & gently place an yolk in each eye. Then pour the egg whites into the rest of the mold.3. Cook for 30 seconds on medium heat. Then pour able 2 tablespoons of water into the pan. Cover with a lid. Wait for about 2 minutes before you slide the egg from the pan onto a plate.If you want the eggs well done, then cook it longer; if you like the york under cooked, be sure to turn heat off and transfer your eggs while the yolks are still sunny yellow.I noticed that if I spray the cooking spray before each use, I don't have any problems with eggs sticking to the mold, so I could make eggs using the same mold for the entire family without any problems.

Lo stampo funziona bene. È necessario ungerlo prima dell'uso e consiglio anche di usare una padella piatta e dai bordi bassi. Ho comprato anche lo stampo a teschio e anche di quello sono soddisfatta. Con questi stampini le uova fritte oltre a essere buone sono anche simpatiche!

Mit jedem Mal Eierbacken wird es immer besser. Das Ergebnis sieht toll aus und läd zum genießen ein. Die Form ist absolut pflegeleicht und hält was sie verspricht. Der Preis, na gut, könnte günstiger sein, aber es gibt aktuell kein vergleichbares Produkt. Meiner Frau konnte ich jedenfalls eine riesen Freude damit machen!
