Would this be okay to give a cockatiel (small bird)?

We formulate all our products to be species specific to their dietary needs. Although there may not be any harmful ingredients in these Guinea Pig treat sticks for a Cockatiel, we cannot make any guarantee claims since it is marketed for Guinea Pigs.

Why does this contain grain and corn when those are not good for guinea pigs?

We have an on-staff Nutritionist/Zoologist that formulates all our products to be species specific. The corn and grain in this treat stick is minimal and as a treat it should be fed in moderation. We would never put anything on the market that would harm any animal.

Do these have an expiration date?

Yes these do have an expiration date. Ones that I bought this summer (2022) have a 'best by' date of April 2024.

Do these help guineas trim their teeth? I know they’re not the best but my guinea pigs don’t like the wooden sticks!

I know hay helps a lot for teeth health. I give these to my piggies because it keeps them busy and they simply love them. Unfortunately they don't last very long!
