I didn't think I needed it. But, my earbuds stopped working. I always thought it was my husband's charging dock that wasn't working right.

The process was quick and easy.

Bought this protection on a pair of headphones I was buying as a gift. I called a few days after and asked some basic questions about how the gift recipient would go about using the warranty coverage if needed. The agent I spoke with from Amazon customer service told me 2 different stories/outcomes from: 1.) call Amazon, give order number then they would contact Asurion. 2.) Gift Recipient calls Asurion with product and "tracking ID" and gets covered that way. I then decided against it and asked Amazon to cancel the order for this made less than 48 hours earlier and with the product not shipped yet. She told me that since Asurion is a 3rd party Seller the only thing they could do was send a message to them requesting they cancel the coverage. While i was speaking with the rep, I clicked on a few things on my end. After answering "is your email delivery product still in the retail packaging" questions and other inane questions my refund was processed instantly. Moral of the story is avoid these in my experience because its easier to replace the headphones that get ANY TYPE of support for them after the sale.

The protection plan was wonderful. It allows me to not worry if my product quits working. I wish my new earpiece offered it.

It was great. I was able to file the claim, receive a gift card, and replace my broken earbuds with no problems

They work as described, were delivered before promised.
