Absolutely love this. Well made and easy to clean if using herbs which usually get stuck when using a conventional teapot.

This is actually a nice cup.. What lets it down is the tea strainer...Im drinking loose leaf tea...or that is what it claims...just looks like tea from a burst tea bag...Twinnings....but half the tea leaves filter through and are left either floating on top or has sunk to the bottom.. Im a neewbie to tea drinking.....but the loose leaf stuff isnt quite doing it for me and this isnt helping..maybe I need to drink a different tea ..cup keeps the tea nice and warm tho....

We have a glass kettle made of the same glass and everyone who has a cup of tea/coffee at ours always comment on how good it is. It's also the distilled water but the kettle makes the tea taste purer (no metal or plastic residual tastes). We wanted to extend that to our mugs so bought these lightweight but sturdy ones and have not been disappointed. Made our first cup of tea today using these and absolutely love them! Even compared to porcelain and fine china, these just result in a clearer cup of tea. Be forewarned, the body of the mug gets super hot but thankfully the substantial handle remains room temperature so no scalding there. The lid is amazing too especially if you don't finish your tea all at once and come back to it later to top up with hot water - keeps any airborne particles out which will be even more relevant on summer days in the garden. Can't comment on the loose tea filter yet as we've not used it but love the fact that it's glass. Will update once we've tried that part out. But as a mug, it's 5 stars all the way! And like another reviewer, it's true, they do look deceptively smaller than their 400ml capacity which they are - I checked!

The glass and overall finish are good quality, but the inner infuser is badly designed. It has holes in the bottom and two rows around the sides, but the first row is too far above the base. When wet tea leaves settle at the bottom, they block the bottom holes. The remaining water then cannot reach the higher holes and becomes trapped inside the infuser instead of draining into the cup. This makes it inconvenient and wasteful to use with loose-leaf tea. It is a nice cup, but the infuser needs more drainage holes closer to the bottom.

It arrived before the expected date, which is good. It seems to be made of good material. I've already used it 4 times. The glass feels sensitive and delicate, but so far it hasn't broken. The glass part that's used to put the tea herbs has small cracks from top to bottom, which is annoying because it lets some tea herbs out, not completely, but some do, which can be unpleasant, but I don't mind. The glass lid is very handy for covering the tea and for placing the glass part where the tea herbs are. Be careful because it gets very hot; you have to use something to hold the mug so you don't burn your hands. Despite some herbs leaking out and it getting very hot, I recommend it; it's elegant and practical.

I love this tea cup!! I’m able to use my specialty teas at work and keep the tea warm and delightful my whole shift. It’s one of my best purchases!
