I use these for making fish mouths and inch and 3/4 Dom roll cage tubing and it works amazing chews faster than any flapper wheel I've ever used but doesn't last as long so buy a couple

Does’t come apart easily

The media could not be loaded.  I was pretty impressed with these. They do a very good job of removing metal in a controlled manner allowing you to smooth and shape your projects. They remove material pretty aggressively and yet leave a relatively smooth finish. They wear extremely well and last a long time. They are well put together and I have not had any delaminate so far. I am very happy with these and can highly recommend them.To help understand how I rate items:My philosophy is, that for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. If I give a product four stars, it is because I believe it is a very good product. To get five stars from me requires a product to go above and beyond and really impress me beyond my expectations. By the same token, a product has to be VERY, VERY bad to get only one star from me. One thing that I DON'T take into consideration with my ratings is price. I may make a general statement such as “this is a good value” but it will not affect my star rating. The reason is that product prices change, even from day-to-day. Also what one person may consider a good price someone else might not. I feel it is more important to review the quality and features of a product and let the buyer decide whether the current price is worth it to them. Another thing that I don't take into consideration are issues with shipping. This is because the seller does not always have control over that. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product:***** Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed.**** Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would Most likely purchase it again if needed .*** Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative.** Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it.* One star - The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.

Not much to say about these flap wheels. They work as expected and fit my grinder. I really like that the paper wraps around the edge which allows me to get into the grooves, lips and edges of cast iron pans and griddles. They're also perfectly aggressive for shaping wood, though I did burn some maple when shaping but that's likely due to the speed of my grinder and too much pressure. Good value overall.

If you do any work that requires an angle grinder you'll find that you constantly go through anger grinder accessories such as these flap discs. These things came as described and worked exactly as you would expect. They fit perfectly on any standard angle grinder and work wonderfully. These flap discs are especially nice due to their curved outer rim which allows you to get a really nice finish at some odd angles so you would otherwise not be able to do with regular flap discs. Very handy accessories

It took me a long time and a lot of money to find my "go to" grinding consumables. The products I settled on and keep stocked in my shop are yellow and black and everyone knows D'name. I don't bleed back and yellow, my shop is filled with which ever tool has proven itself to be cost effective.With that said, I wasn't expecting much out of these disks when I decided to try them out. To my pleasant surprise they have held their own up against my usual disks. They have equaled the more expensive product in quality of the surface prepped, and life span.Of course, this is not enough for me ditch my old brand and switch, that would be stupid. I am however going to explore more of what Whitby and others have to offer and give them a chance to convince me they can deliver consistent quality at a more affordable price. I say "others" because I have come across another so called "off brand" of cutting wheels, that have blown the black and yellow ones out of the water. And I am going to review them next.

I really like this disc. I originally ordered it to just clean up surface rust off of metal or strip off a thin coat of paint. But so far I have used this to do both and I even used it to sand a piece of plywood to get some stuff off the surface of it. And it worked very well for all of the things mentioned above. The only issue that I had even though I know it's not intended for wood but there was a lot of moisture in the air that evening and once I got down to the last little section of the plywood it kind of gunked up the sawdust because of the moisture. But all I had to do was grab a wire brush and clean it off and I was right back at it. I will definitely be getting more of those

I am very pleased with these flap disks overall. They have great service life - they do not wear out quickly at all. Their performance is excellent, providing great results while also not exhibiting any worrying signs like vibrations or cracking. I got one of these disks quite hot while really putting it to work but it was fine after allowing it to cool off. All of the individual pads were still intact and it continued to perform flawlessly afterwards.At $15.99 for a set of five, this set is great value for money. You’ll pay more than this for name brand disks and I don’t believe those will perform any better than these will. Personally I will be ordering more of these in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

These work great for grinding out welds and cleaning off the flux .. also good for removing rust on flat surfaces. I have only used the first one and am still going with the original disk.
