Alice's Nightmare in Wonderland Colouring Book: 1 (Snowbooks Fantasy Colouring Books, 1)

The designs are superb, its the paper that lets this amazing book down. Its thinner than my photo copier paper and ruins a damn fine colouring book. Sad to think great designers and illustrators have their work displayed so shabbily.

I struggle to make a decision when there are only 2 reviews, one good and one bad, so here is my review. I love the pictures they are very quirky, however they are very black and do not really leave room for much colour. The book is not very thick and the pages are very thin, so any colouring needs to be done in pencil. I do love the drawings though!

Quick delivery. Great book Don't know why people are complaining it's a dark book. It's a 'nightmare theme' it's not going to be bright and pretty lol. I've managed to colour my whole book. Can't wait to purchase the 2nd one!

Although the pictures are beautiful and the artist is clearly very talented, as a coloring book for adults, it is not the best. The reason is that some of the pictures are just too dark with too much shading to be able to color in properly. In particular the picture of Alice falling down the rabbit hole. It's to dark. Its hard to add your own creative coloring twist to a picture like this as the colors will not show much under the dark shading. Also this book is a companion for another novel, so the writing on each picture is in no order to read and doesn't make much sense unless you own the adventure book too (however i AM intrigued about that book and will probably buy it too haha!)All in all i am pretty disappointed with this. There is just too much detail in the pictures for it to be a good coloring book.

Right as a colouring book it's no good hence only 3 stars. The images have too much black!!! You can colour parts of it but you could say you can colour in a newspaper! As a comic book however I love it! So was glad I bought it but it's NOT a colouring in book!!!
