Perfection!
It is perfect. Looks brand new and got here faster than posted. Functions like I bought it full priced brand new from Google and it is fast, no slow down or anything. I don't know what was Renewed but what ever it was I can't tell.

NOT UNLOCKED
Purchased this phone to replace and upgrade my broken Pixel 4a. Paid a little more for this one specifically because it was "Unlocked" and I wanted to install Graphene OS later. Fast forward to today when I tried to install it, and realize that the phone is carrier locked to Verizon, therefore it is impossible to install any aftermarket OS, and I'm back to looking for a new phone. Contacted the seller and they clarified that: "the device is network unlocked which means it will work using any network's physical SIM card. You need a factory unlocked or OEM unlocked device. I understand it's frustrating as Amazon doesn't allow us as 3rd party sellers to specify the difference on their Listing Templates but you're welcome to ask in the future and we'd check before shipping." Some how this is my fault for not asking if the unlocked phone was ALL THE WAY unlocked or just a little unlocked. Not fully the seller's fault per the explanation, but I still feel like I've been mislead.

Pixel 7a, like new good to go through 2028.
Phone arrived quickly and in perfect condition, packed nicely in a generic white box with a small zip top bag with a charger, cord and SIM key. the phone needed charging. It went into a reboot loop until enough charge was in the battery. It came with the original Android 14 OS. After initial setup I updated to Android 16 and installed the few apps I use. This is my 3rd Pixel phone. (3a, 6a and now 7a) I find the pixel the best of the Android phones for obvious reasons. At $200 the value of the 7a as a "cheap" smart cannot be overstated. It is probably THE best phone you can get at this price point. With the recent announcement that Pixel 6a and up will get 5 years of OS and security updates, the support on these make them a excellent buy. Great cameras, clean Android, no vendor excess and lock downs on controls. High quality phone.

After only beginning to check it out -
I just got this, only initially selecting settings without having the eSim set for calls yet or checking with my carrier. While I know I chose a level of refurbished being “good” instead of “excellent”, I don’t like that it arrived with scratches on the screen - though this may appear minor. I had tried a different refurbished make & model prior (choosing “excellent”) that was in perfect condition, just having not liked the phone in general and not keeping. I have had many phones over time and even after using for a few years, never had created scratches upon. It appears the phone may be to my liking in general, while only initially checking it out, but also don’t like that the online “search bar” cannot be relocated from the bottom of screen, for one thing. I have seen other users discussing this also and solutions suggested for are not resolving, but it is an earlier model of. (I have not used another phone not allowing to modify this setting). Otherwise, the camera appears to be very good and like certain features besides, such as having beautiful Wallpaper images included, it appearing well-made, the overall design being nice, the size of not being overly huge and usage should be easy. I like to be able to remove Apps I will not use, and this one is not overloaded with. Though not having entirely considered, and may update. (I have just had a time of trying different manufacturer’s models, as they can ALL differ in ease of use, design, options, operation & quality). UPDATE: Having used the phone since last posting, I am finding it to be finally something that is more pleasing than not, though with some unavoidable Google features, it’s not a bad phone overall, good quality, nice phone. Just glad to find something that appeals to me - not being “a gamer” or using heavily, but for calls, texts and minor searches - otherwise using other devices for.

Excellent refurbished flagship phone
Ordered in excellent condition and it certainly is so. Turns on fine, battery life seems reasonable. Came pre-installed with a screen protector so that was a nice surprise!

Great phone for sure.
Only had the phone for like 3 months now but I love it. The only issue I've had is I got moisture behind the camera glass and the phone is supposed to be water resistant. I did buy refurbished to tho.

Pixel 7a issues
I got my first phone and a microfracture appeared to crack the screen during normal use. The oled screen works the glass is cracked side to side. No drops. Upon receiving replacement phone, the new one refused to work with my carrier. The IMEI was shown to be compatable with my carrier but rwfussed to connect with towers for data access. Now I can't even get a replacement phone. This was my worst expirence by far. (Pixel7a)
