I've been using this strainer for months for my kefir grains. It works perfectly! Of course, you have to push the grains around a little bit to pass the kefir through, but it's the same with any strainer. It's very easy to use with its long handle and is sturdy. It fits over a cup or jar nicely with the extra hook on the opposite end of the handle. It's super easy to clean too. I use it almost every day. It's perfect for the price and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Not much else to say about it - it's just great.

Good little strainer. Great for when you need just a little utensil, not the bigger one. I use for loose leaf tea, and as an herbalist, I also use to strain my herb infused oils, alcohol, vinegar, etc straight into their receiving jar with good success. Easy to clean, hot water rinse and a little soap only if needed. The handle and mesh are well made and joined nicely producing a very stable straining process. No flops of tea leaves or herbs over my counter, yay! Great value and multipurpose product.

The quality of steel mesh and the grip are great.. seem durable and sturdy. No intricate corners ..so easy cleaning. The size feels little bigger for filtering tea in to a standard glass or cup. Recomended for quality and usability.
