Top Quality and Looks Nice on the Door.
This door viewer cover not only prevents someone from looking into our home from the outside, it is also very attractive with it's shining bright brass finish. It looks classy. It has become a conversation point to our visitors. Today, mini cameras previously used by law enforcement to peer into the home through the door viewer are becoming more available and lower priced. This simple, but nice looking cover solves that problem. This cover prevents anyone from violating your privacy.Second Product Review: We've had this cover for several years and it is now beginning to show tarnish spots. I guess they are caused by our fingers when moving the cover to see through the peep hole. The tarnish spots are ugly and I'm not sure how to remove them. I might try a metal cleaner like Brasso.

Piss poor customer service
Product may be ok.. But the customer service is horrendous!

Easy install and works flawlessly.
Installation went smoothly. The only change I made was to use a 3/32" pilot hole rather than the 1/16" pilot hole as recommended by the manufacturer. I installed this viewer in a metal door and found the 1/16" pilot hole to be too small diameter to accept the supplied screw's thread. No problem with this, the 3/32" pilot worked perfectly with the supplied screw.I did, in error, received a brushed finish viewer rather than the bright-brass viewer I ordered. But it wasn't an issue--certainly not enough to deduct from this device and its hardware.

Looks good. It would be nice if they had a version that didn't require drilling a hole in your door, but with a different screw, a small piece of wood, some glue, and small clear 3M Command strips you can attach it without harming the door. Good luck.
