So I have one in a red metal cabinet and has had its ups and downs. Then bought this to replace it and loads better. It’s less messy if your putting it in a building specially when refilling and it’s a bigger tank what helps the messing too. The metal casing makes a whole lot of difference and the pump seems to run better. I’ve been running this on the 4th setting as for starters just felt safer. It’s only been a couple weeks but I am confident that it should keep working well. Never had that with the last one. Amazon have always been great but just make sure you have it ready to install like a hole in wall so you can get your going right away. You get 4 weeks to do that. If it’s working with no errors like this has for me for last 2 weeks then it’s a good one and will keep in keeping on. Don’t be afraid. Get a road angel to watch for nasty air and warm your homes.

Although the heater is only 5kw and not 8, it is producing good heat output. Also the build impressed me with the outer case being aluminium.I did have a problem with the unit clogging up with soot. I resolved this by firstly cleaning it, and then changing the fuel pump config. 4th menu option, code 1234 and changed default value 2 To 8 . This stopped the unit from running rich and building soot.Note: This does reduce the heat slightly.See code details:P & T is manual heat or auto temp.1 & 2 is 12v or 24vH & L is 5000w or 2000w1,2 & 8 is the pump size 16ml 22ml or 28ml

I have installed this on my boat and finally it is working fine (for a month now). Initially I had some problem to make it working. I bought this heater to replace my old Eberspaecher and the original exhaust pipe already installed on the boat is much longer than on this kit. Why this is important to mention? I have noticed that the burner fan on this heater is much quieter/weaker than Eberspaecher hence the puffing white smoke because of not enough intake air so I had to made some changes in my setup in order to make it working.

Came broken, made a horrific noise the pump wouldn’t work.Started to smoke dark fumes when we connected it, don’t purchase this.

Sturdy built piece of kit , not been cold at all since I fitted it , 1 caution I would recommend a mounting turret over the supplied base especially if fitting I'm a motorhome as it will try setting fire to your insulation, once I expanded the opening it's run 24/7 without a fault , I did message them asking if they did a service kit for it with no reply , but run properly and even in summer running on max for 30 mins once a month I'd recommend it,

Looks Brilliant, QUALITY Solid Allumium outer casing which is what I wanted for additional protection. Only really needed the 2-5kw version (smaller) but couldnt find this with the ally case. 8kw running either on night setting or minimum output should work, we shall see. Complicated to set upFound it very difficult to useWorks as intended though.

I have had a few Chinese diesel heaters over the years so I know what to expect (they don't like high or low voltage). Once primed, works as it should so far, no rattles or fault codes. I take the 8kw with a pinch of salt though, but the aluminium shell should let me run it flat out without worrying about a plastic case. Chinese quality control is questionable at best, but a good one will last many years of constant use ( but I do carry a few spares ).

Funktioniert gut nur leider habe ich ein Störgeräusch bei langsamer Drehzahl. Das raschelt so merkwürdig. Ist das normal oder habe ich mir da was eingesaugt? Ich weiß auch nicht ob das schon immer so war oder erst seit kurzem weil ich die Anlage eigentlich immer auf vollbetrieb habe. Aber ansonsten macht die Anlage genau das was sie machen soll und das richtig gut
