It offers a low volume resistivity of 160 Ω·cm, exceptional corrosion resistance proven by over 550 hours in ASTM B117 salt fog testing, and excellent thermal stability that prevents separation during temperature cycling. Ideal for enhancing grounding, preventing arcing, and extending the life of electrical contacts in demanding environments. ## Description The 8481 Premium Carbon Conductive Grease is an electrically conductive grease with a synthetic oil base. This product is similar to the MG 846 silicone conductive grease, but unlike its silicone counterpart the 8481 synthetic-oil grease is essentially non-bleeding. Further, it includes corrosion inhibitors that provide superior corrosion resistance. The 8481 grease lubricates and improves electrical connections between sliding surfaces and parts, ensuring good grounding connection. It is also used to improve electrical continuity between irregular and pitted surfaces, as well as providing an economical way to protect switches against corrosion. Extends the life of contacts. Resistivity better than 400 Ω. Silicone Free. Safe on plastics. ## Features - Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. - Improves electrical connections between irregular and pitted surfaces and loose or vibrating parts - Prevents arcing, pitting, hotspots and welds - Volume resistivity of 160 Ω·cm - Excellent corrosion resistance—passed ASTM B117 salt fog test >550 hours - Excellent thermal stability—does not separate because of temperature cycling ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00NB14C2C | | Best Sellers Rank | 305,607 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 16,107 in Adhesives & Sealers | | Brand Name | MG Chemicals | | Compatible Material | Carbon, Plastic | | Container Type | Tube | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (261) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00779008848111 | | Item Form | Grease,Oil | | Item Type Name | Carbon Conductive Grease | | Item Weight | 0.1 Pounds | | Liquid Volume | 85 Gallons | | Manufacturer | MG Chemicals | | Material | Carbon; Synthetic Oil | | Model Number | 8481-1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | 8481-1 | | Product Warranty | warranty@mgchemicals.com | | Recommended Uses For Product | Electrical | | Specific Uses For Product | Inhibitors | | UPC | 779008848111 | | Unit Count | 85.0 millilitre | ## Product Details - **Brand:** MG Chemicals - **Item weight:** 0.1 Pounds - **Liquid volume:** 85 Gallons - **Material:** Carbon; Synthetic Oil - **Package information:** Tube ## Images ![MG Chemicals 8481-1 Premium Carbon Conductive Grease, 85mL Tube, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/315CKNP-NdL.jpg) ![MG Chemicals 8481-1 Premium Carbon Conductive Grease, 85mL Tube, Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51mS-bsQ3WL.jpg) ![MG Chemicals 8481-1 Premium Carbon Conductive Grease, 85mL Tube, Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41xiLJPgMuL.jpg) ![MG Chemicals 8481-1 Premium Carbon Conductive Grease, 85mL Tube, Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51x75USd4vL.jpg) ![MG Chemicals 8481-1 Premium Carbon Conductive Grease, 85mL Tube, Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61c9W2WV2GL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - MG Chemicals - 8481-1 Premium Carbon Conductive Grease, 3 fl. oz, Black - WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner Spray, 11 oz. - Permatex 22058 Dielectric Tune-Up Grease, 3oz. - High Performance Dielectric Grease Used To Protect Terminals, Spark Plugs, Wiring And Other Electrical Connections Against Salt, Dirt, And Corrosion --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/55344332-mg-chemicals-8481-1-premium-carbon-conductive-grease-85ml-tube](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/55344332-mg-chemicals-8481-1-premium-carbon-conductive-grease-85ml-tube) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
