Latzimas Extra Virgin Olive Oil (5 L Gold)

This was the first time I tried this brand of olive oil, I must say that it is one of the best! Great taste, excellent quality, it’s definitely worth what you pay!

Me and family are trying to get onto using olive oil as a healthier option for salads, cooking and all. Kids resented previous attempts at a taste change. A friend recommended this brand. We tasted it and order for a 5L can which arrived a day earlier than suggested delivery time. Tastewise, it far exceeds my expectation and even the kids seem to like it. I find the price slightly higher in comparison to some other. However, i am not considering to risk the taste change as i like its distinct flavour. I also recommend to use it with a dry branch of mint or thyme in a separate bottle as it does not cater for everyone's taste buds.

I have ordered this product only as there were no smaller containers available. I mean, 5L it is a bit exaggeration for a domestic use... Probably will finish before the end of the year as I can eat it just with bread! My only disappointment is the state of a can as it arrived properly banged up. It is bent and dented in quite a few places but mostly the base so I cannot rest it standing.... It does not change the quality of oil itself but I believe that the cost of a can is included in the price too. And it is quite annoying and not too handy to pour oil out.

This olive oil is stunning for salad or with breads as it’s delicious doesn’t have the wrong olive oil taste that takes over everything. It’s subtle and goes with just about everything. Won’t buy a different brand

This oil has a fabulous taste. Fantastic drizzled over salad or as a bread dip with balsamic. Well every penny and would definitely purchase again.

Good olive oil It doesn’t leaves bitter aftertaste. Nice green colour and great flavour . Definitely recommend

I have a very selective taste when it is olive oil and this brand fully cover my taste both on salad usage and cooking. It’s flavor is very unique but at the same time it is not acidic. Taste is subjective but I highly recommend for a try.

Almost completely tasteless, despite a somewhat nice smell at first on opening. On the positive side, there is very little bitterness as well. So if you want a "neutral" oil it's kind of OK (but for that you can probably find cheaper deals). That's both the second time I order oil on Amazon and the second time I drink a Cretan oil (I'm more used to Provençal or Spanish), so I don't have much to compare with, but the brand I bought last time (Mihelakis) for a similar price had clearly a much stronger taste. Also, it comes without any chemical analysis on the label, in the sense that the figures given only correspond to the legal maximal values for an EVO. The parcel came with a reasonable delay and in reasonably good shape.
