Asian sesame oil is amber in color and full of flavor! Sesame oil is great for seasoning, dressings and vinaigrette! Note: the low smoking temperature of sesame oil makes it unsuitable for using alone for cooking Net.

Warm, Earthy Toasted Sesame Seed Taste That's Heavenly
This sesame oil has a wonderful rich, warm, earthy taste without being overpowering. I'm not stingy when I add it to soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, a wee bit of honey, garlic and ginger to make a pot sticker dipping sauce that takes me back to a favorite dumpling hole in the wall in NYC. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!Edit 11-20-16: Kadoya sesame oil was the first brand I ever tried and I still love it but did want to share what I just discovered. I know a lot of you already know this but there are a few of us "oil" novices out there so this is for them...lol. Although I'm very familiar with the warm, rich flavor of a good sesame oil from eating Asian food for more than 60 years in some wonderful restaurants, I have only recently started cooking with this oil myself. Before that I was addicted to using olive oil, avocado oil, and coconut oil.Well anyway, I just tried another brand of sesame seed oil and discovered there really is a huge difference in brands. Both oils I've purchased are good but the new one I tried was much milder than Kadoya. In fact the sesame taste I've become accustomed to for most of my life is not present in La Tourangelle Toasted Sesame Oil. If you're looking for an oil that gives you just a hint of toasted sesame give La Tourangelle Toasted Sesame Oil a try though. I may keep both around. So for warm, rich taste it's Kadoya. For a mild, light flavor it's La Tourangelle. If you're looking for that sesame taste you get in the rich dipping sauces at Chinese dumpling houses...use Kadoya.

Unconventional use
From a recommendation by a famous master luthier, I use this product on my ebony instrument fretboard to keep it from cracking and drying out. I live in a dry climate and apply this every 6 months, with great results. I imagine that it would work on other stringed instruments that have an ebony fretboard.

Four Stars
Tasty, but realized at my local store it sells for only a mere 2.99.

Fine product and an easily held bottle
Noticing that my Kadoya Sesame Oil bottle was nearing the end of the bottle and since I use this oil frequently, I ordered another bottle as this brand is highly recommended. I'm sorry that I didn't look closely when I placed my order as I really need a larger bottle! As a note, this bottle is easy to hold and that's a plus for me as I like to grip a glass bottle firmly.

So yummy on roasted veggies
This sesame oil makes every roasted vegetable delicious. I bought it after a meal subscription box included sesame oil for roasted Brussels sprouts, and I can never go back. I'd never had sesame oil at home before that. It's absolutely delicious, and if it can make Brussels sprouts good, you know it's a winner. We've now used it with cauliflower and asparagus as well. It add just a hint of flavor that is really hard to describe. Definitely delicious and highly recommend.

Great aroma and taste
Love the concentrated toasted sesame taste and aroma with this oil from Kadoya, all you need is a few drops to get that flavor you're looking for so a small bottle usually lasts me longer than others. I would recommend keeping this refrigerated, as sesame oils tend to go rancid sooner than others (though I have yet to have that problem with this).
