It's cool and it glows in the dark. I do not like the way the surface feels though.

Unfortunately my initial review of this item got messed up well after the fact, so my photos and videos of it are now gone. Luckily, it's still an awesome item so I'll happily rewrite that!I've always wanted to have one of these spinning orb thingies on my desk as they look very neat. When I saw this I didn't want to pass it up. I thought the gold and green were nice colors, completely oblivious to the fact the green glows in the dark! I was confused at first when the item arrived in its very nice little protective zipper case because it included a keychain UV light. I've had a few items come with those that are literally just thrown in there as "bonus" items, but I quickly realized this one had a purpose!You shine the UV light on the spiraling green line on the toy for a few seconds and it then glows very nicely even at my moderately lit desk! I let the UV light shine on it for even longer and, of course, the glow was even brighter. I turned off the lights and would spin this little bad boy and get mesmerized by the glowing spiral. It's a lot of fun!As I said, it comes with a zipper case and the UV light. The material and quality of the spinner is very nice and it has a nice weight to it (about what you'd expect so it doesn't move around too much when using it). As another review stated, the spinning does create a bit of a scratching sound which could be annoying for some. It personally doesn't bother me at all, I guess I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to neat little toys like this.

Have to shine a light on it to get it to glow.Need a flat surface for it to spin on - so good for desktop use only.The shining part is lovely but having to apply a flashlight to it seems odd like they couldn't find a way to build that in. (A small box with a light to insert it into would have been better than trying to apply a tiny handheld light to get to glow all over which I never successfully did do).It's pretty? But it's work.

This is nice and satisfying. It spins smoothly and looks really nice! It's a good size to fidget with while on calls or whatever.

The Mechaniker Luminous Fidget Spinner Ball is a fidget ball spinner that comes with a few things. It has a small zippered carrying case (kind of like those for earphones), the fidget ball itself, a tiny blacklight/UV light flashlight with batteries included (uses x4 LR41 cells), and a bonus plastic fidget spinner. The plastic fidget spinner is very light weight, though it spins for under a minute at most. The light is used to shine on the fidget ball, of which the luminous paint in the spiral etching is able to absorb and become luminous for a short period of time.The fidget ball is made of a quality metal. It has some weight, and seems to be well made. The bearing is on the bottom and has a circular rubber base to help grip and keep the fidget ball in place. Spins for a decent amount of time, which is nice. Audibly the fidget ball does get somewhat loud, as the surface which it is sitting on does affect how it sounds and also the vibration level. It works as described, though in the category of fidget toys I am uncertain if it satisfies the general fidget urge, at least personally. It requires a more intentional spin given the surface area and the ergonomics of how to spin it. Overall, this is a decently quality metal fidget ball with a few accessories that works as intended.
