probably for larger people and those who have had surgeries--not shapewear for those who just need a little smoothing
I ultimately returned this. I am small and pretty slim, have not had any sort of surgery or posture problems (but have had a few kids so my figure can stand some assistance), and as-such I'm thinking these types are garments are overkill for my needs. I love that they combine everything you want: thigh smoothing, tummy flattening, and bust lift. In my search for all-in-one shapewear on Amazon, I came across Spanish-labeled shapewear garments (usually with something like "fajas" in the title) which seemed much more comprehensive than others I was seeing, so I ordered a few to try. All of them are ultimately going back. While they have all these great features, 1) none of them are designed to work for women with short torsos (a common problem in shapewear--it's typically not for petite people and will fold badly at the waist because the torso is cut too long); & 2) they don't really provide the shaping I want (maybe I'm too small?) while having all the inconveniences of heavy-duty high-powered shapewear. I don't really need armor, just some smoothing. One other note: proportionately, I'm going to hazard a guess that South American women have thicker thighs. For how much compression the rest of this garment offers, the thighs are much looser and definitely not compressive. If you look at the models for these garments, too, you'll notice they have much sturdier hips than the average US/European model used in advertising nowadays.

I’ve been using this Faja almost 2 years I started with a size large and now I just got a size small I love using this for work is comfortable. I love it I recommended and it of course has to fit you tight in order for you to shape you.

Post lipo or personal use, great
I’ve been wearing it about 5 days for post lipo recovery, my friend recommended it. My measurements put me at an xs but I got a small and I’m happy I did. The waist area is very small and tight and is uncomfortable and a bit hard to breathe. It’s hard to get into the first time but after a few days it seemed to give a little, even after washing. I did not put it in the dryer, I was scared it would shrink. After a few days I grew accustomed to the tightness and I can even eat with it fully fastened. I wear this virtually 24 hrs. For anybody buying it for personal use go 1-2 sizes up for comfort. For post surgical, get your exact size or 1 size up for less restriction on the waistline. So far, so good. Seems like a good product!

Not good for bbl
Product is great quality thick heavy compression. However the sizing is WAAAY off. I’m size 6-8 30 inch waist before my Lipo and bbl and can barely fit into a 2X. The back opening for the butt checks are places way too low and the compression on top of the butt was too much for me. I Felt like it smashed my butt. I would Not recommend for bbl due to odd butt opening

Order way bigger than what you think you will need.
I am 5’1, 126 lbs with a 31” waist. I ordered a small according to the size chart. I couldn’t zip the zipper up at all. So I ordered a med. same thing!! At this post I was feeling super big and upset. I then ordered a large. It ALMOST fit. Still too small. After a small emotional emotional breakdown I ordered an extra large. Finally it fit. Now the problem was my butt and legs didn’t fit. They were way too big. Remember I do NOT have a large middle.I decided to get the Marena post op garment and he xl fit perfectly everywhere.This was a two week process that if I had just gone with marena in the first place I could have avoided.Word of warning. Place order way ahead of your procedure so you will have the right fit in time.
