They work (showing EXIT) and glow well in the dark and for a modest costThe signs do what they are supposed to do -- show people where the EXIT is. And the Photoluminescent feature (green text on colorless black in the dark -- the text is white on red in the light) works well and satisfies or local fire regulations. The fire marshal said lit signs are the best, but these Photoluminescent Signs are sufficient at a small portion of the cost.Some reviewers said the signs did not stick well, but so far all three that we mounted seem to be adhering well to the painted walls. And that is with the wild swings in temperature in the Texas weather. If the signs fail to adhere in the future, a few well placed staples is a small price for these excellent inexpensive signs.

Don't expect 8 hours of glow
They stay glowing for about an hour after a sufficient light source is turned off.
