I have tried many pods over the years ranging from plain awful to very good. Caffe Borbone coffee is a level way above very good. It is truly excellent. I have only tried the Blue and Black blends, both are great. The flavour is the best I've had. Is there a downside? Yes...For some reason the flow from the Nespresso compatible pods isn't great. Very often the coffee splatters and comes out very slowly. Sometimes the coffee hardly comes out at all. When it works it's great but it amazes me how a company can shoot themselves in the foot by going to all the hard work of producing great coffee only to get the easy part so wrong. Come on, please improve the quality of the pods. I've seen other reviewers mention this so it's nothing new but it seems like the company aren't concerned which is a shame. It's still, for me, the best coffee out there though. It's worth trying but don't be surprised by the pods. Sometimes they work fine so maybe you'll get a lucky batch!

The taste is ok. But as some reviews said the water flow is very bad for some pods. With these pods, my Nespresso machine worked so wired that the coffee drips out slowly most of the time. Even worst that sometimes it stopped with just half of the usual water volume. I won’t buy this again. This is worse than the Amazon brand. Indeed the Amazon brand has fewer issues.

Caffè Borboneis the best Italian coffe in the world

Acquistato più volte nel tempo, spesso in offerta, ma ho attivato anche l’iscrizione con abbonamento per mantenere un buon prezzo quando le promozioni non sono disponibili. La qualità si è dimostrata costante tra un ordine e l’altro. La miscela offre un gusto intenso ma equilibrato, con una corposità piena e una crema ben presente, soprattutto subito dopo l’erogazione. L’aroma è deciso, senza risultare eccessivamente amaro o bruciato, rendendolo adatto anche a un consumo quotidiano. Buona resa in tazza, soprattutto per chi cerca un espresso forte il giusto, con una sensazione cremosa e persistente. Nel complesso un prodotto affidabile, che mantiene un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, ancora più interessante se acquistato tramite offerte o abbonamento.
