I was confused when it arrived as it was so much smaller than the old one. Like it is maybe 1/3 the size. I soon read that due to technology, the size of capacitors is greatly reduced but work just as good if not better. So I installed it to see and hence it works well as it replaced the old, very old washing machine motor that I converted into a bench wire wheel.

Had to change wire connectors. That's really no problem. Plug and play otherwise.
