We actually used it to cover a skylight in the camper shower to keep out light and heat. Works great. We used Velcro to put it up so it’s easy to pull down when needed.

Used on windows indoor. Decreased my cooling bill in Florida summer heat significantly! ❤️

This past July I pulled my travel trailer from TN to southern CO. On the way out I didn't have these, and every day when I stopped it was over 100 degs in the camper. It would take 3-4 hrs to get the temp below 80 degs. I bought several of these while in CO and covered all of the windows and the skylight on the way back. They made a significant difference in the inside temp while towing and, especially, in reducing the temp once I stopped.

Installation was pretty straightforward. These shields are perfect for keeping the sun out of your trailer, especially when it messes with your thermostat.The only bad side-effect was that these shields reflected our desert sun onto one area of the bezel surrounding the window, and concentrated it so much the bezel actually melted and deformed! We had to line the bottom of the bezel with tinfoil to stop the damage from progressing.

I needed to block the door window to keep the heat out.Worked excellent. Stopped a lot of heat from coming in and AC ran better during the day.

This product is well made and it works great in the Summer to reflect the sun and heat away from our 5th wheel RV windows. It definitely lowers the indoor temperature and allows the AC unit to work more efficient. In the Winter it helps insulate the windows because the product has small air bubbles embedded into the design which act as an insulator. Overall a great product. Be sure to select the correct size for your needs. I prefer a size slightly larger than the window itself to allow for full coverage and some overlap if you select anything smaller than the window then you will not receive full benefits of the product. In my opinion this product should be used inside on the interior and not for outdoor use. I don't recommend cutting this to size for a window because it has finished edges that if cut could unravel or cause issue with the product. Instead I would just fold to make it fit and leave the finished edges intact.

Our RV has a window in the front where the master bedroom is. Our lot faces nearly due east. In the summer our bedroom is just too hot by noon. We put this in that window and it certainly made a difference. It has stayed in as placed. We have not had to mess with it. The RV A/C works better in there. It does not have to work so hard to get it cool in there.

I am using these to help keep the sun out of the trailer while stored in hopes of prevent UV damage. The material seems relatively thin and I am concerned about how long it will last. It is held in place by velcro so installation was really easy. With the feel of the material and the price, I am of the opinion that it may only last a season. The material does not feel like it will handle many cycles of removal before it tears. Overall, it does block out the light very well so it is doing its job. Just don't expect this to be an item to last long term. I am giving it five stars simply because it does work well and the quality of the product matches the price paid.

Very easy

It does help keep the caravan a little cooler but it's quite thin and when we put it on the panoramic window that gets the full sun it's not quite thick enough on very hot days so I will have to double it up or buy a thicker one (it does roll up nicely for storing when not in use though).

Bought this for the window on our RV door. Had no privacy at night and sunlight would stream through in the morning. Works great. Nice and light to put on at night and remove during day.

This works perfect for sleeping, and also for blocking the heat from outside when it is too sunny. Bought a larger one for the front window of our camper van and works great!

Used it to cover my large window to keep the heat from the sun out. Needed four, but well worth it.
