Bought for my new Baofeng BF-F8HP Pro. SWR is below 1.5 : 1 on 2 meters and 70 cm and 1.8:1 on 220 MHz. Length is manageable and performance is much better than the stock antennas. The price is very good.

Works great, strangely resonate on Airband and CB as well. Good quality. But the most important thing; The Radtel RT-880 and RT-880G (and I'm assuming the newer 950) have a frustratingly deep male SMA socket. None of my Nagoyas or other female SMA antennas can seat enough to make proper contact. This does! No need to file down an antenna base or use adapters. If you have one of these radios, THIS is the antenna you're looking for.

I have compared numerous dual band long whip styles on various HTs. For good performance with better gain (about 3 dB) than the usual 6 or 7 inch rubber duck and lower SWR, this ended up the best of the group I tested. There may be better out there but for now, this is my favorite. de WC4R

Antenna fit well to regular Baofengs, Radtels, Tidradios, and similar HTs. Best tri-band antenna I owned and second best to my Diamond antenna. The main difference is about 2-3 inches. This antenna is close to 15-1/2". Highly recommend.

I got this to try on my Quansheng K6 radio and it has worked well. The whip is good weight vs flex ratio. It stays fairly straight without adding too much heft to the radio, and bends easily while returning to straight. I haven't gotten a chance to sweep it with my analyzer yet, so not sure how well it's tuned. It feels a little bit on the short side for 2m band, but seems to work fine there. I haven't transmitted with it on other bands. It receives well on bands I've tried listening - 2m, NOAA weather, FM broadcast, etc.

Bad SWR on all bands. 2m was tuned to about 158MHz, Don't know where 222MHz was, but got a 4.7:1, 70cm was tuned to about 470MHz. I was making better 222MHz contacts on a Tidradio H3 Plus stock non-1.25m antenna than this supposed tri-bander. I guess it may be a good VHF marine band antenna, but that's not what I paid for. Returned four of them for refund. -w7com
