Smooth, Stylish, and Super Easy to Use!
The best part is how smoothly they glide. The roller balls make opening and closing the shower curtain effortless—no catching, no noise, just a smooth, easy slide every time. They’re simple to clip on, hold the curtain securely, and stay put once installed. If you want shower curtain hooks that combine style, durability, and super-smooth performance, these are an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

Timeless and functional shower curtain rings. Whoohoo!
I have had these for close to a year and they are holding up well. They look better than those junky plastic ones and were easy to attach to the shower curtain. They are not showing any signs of rust or deterioration in spite of daily usage. What else is there to say about basic functional shower curtain hooks? They were a good value and a decent product. I am giving them five stars not because I "love" them, but because I truly have no complaints. They work well and are inexpensive.

Basic, affordable, simple
If you are looking for curtain hooks & you aren't too picky about it, these are a solid buy. They are a very simple design & they glide effortlessly across my shower curtain rod. Like the other reviewers, I worry about rust but it's too soon for me to tell you if they will or won't. But at the end of the day, I want more! On a strictly personal preference, I wish I shelled out the extra cash for the InterDesign York Classic Shower Hooks. I wavered between these two sets (simple & functional vs classic vintage look). I decided that there would not be much of a difference and figured I'd save a few bucks. However, now that I have these hooks up, I strongly believe the York hooks would work much better in my bathroom and balance out the shower curtain with the hooks. Right now, the shower curtain almost looks like it's hanging on threads because these are so thin (sturdy but thin). Am I now going to go order the other hooks? Probably not (unless these rust or wear out).

These hooks work well
UPDATE 02/2014: During a recent move I noticed that these hooks did indeed rust. At least, the set in the bathroom that had the humidity problem did. The set in the other bathroom was still completely rust-free. The rust only occurred inside the little roller balls, but the hooks are still completely functional. I have even put the rusty set back up in the new home, and it still works just fine. I've been using these hooks for about eight months now and I have not had any problems. They were easy to install and they slide back and forth on the curtain rod as they are supposed to. They are not quiet, but not loud enough to make me shrink back in horror. I have not seen any rust as of yet, and I use these hooks in an environment that's humid enough to make shower curtains moldy in two or three months.

Good for a Year, Then the Rust Began to Form
When I initially purchased these roller hooks, I loved them. They rolled very easy and were a welcomed change from the old plastic hooks we had previously. I happily used them for about a year before I noticed the rust beginning to form when I was washing the curtain, but it wasn't noticeable when they were hanging, so I dealt with it. After all, they cost me $6.15, shipped! After two years, they need to be replaced. They are so rusted it is noticeable when you walk into the bathroom and the rust ruined the shower curtain. I'm not too upset about it, however - they were cheap and when they were new, they were great. In the end, if you are looking for a quick fix (as I was), then I recommend these. They would be good for an apartment, or first house (like me!), but if you are looking for something that will last for more than a year or two, look elsewhere.

Durable and nice-looking
These replaced the decorative hooks that do not completely close ('2' or 'S' shaped). We wanted to use them, but the only bathroom with a shower curtain was the boys bathroom. They are not gentle opening and closing the curtain, so I needed something that would 'glide' across the curtain rod and not fall off. These work great for both needs. They glide very easily thanks to the tiny ball bearings (even though the previous 'S' hooks were starting to catch) and if you match the color (chrome, brushed silver, etc) to a similar finish on your curtain rod they actually look quite nice too. Very happy for the price.

Great at first...RUSTS QUICKLY
I probably should have taken more time to research this item. It just seemed to me that anything made for the shower would have to be a corrosion resistant metal or why bother? Silly me...it is all about selling and profits these days so do not ever assume a product will be half decent. Within six months they were literally covered in rust! Functionally they work great...easy to install, stay closed, slide easily...but what is the point if they rust that badly?

Cheap, I should of bought the plastic ones
I bought these because of the other high reviews. Most of the time, the high reviews are right but this was not the case. The hooks are such cheap quality. The construction reminds me of thicker paper clips with sharp metal burrs. If you are not careful opening and closing the hooks to attach to the rod, you will slice your finger(s). If you have a cloth shower curtain and need to take it down on a regular basis to wash, these hooks aren't going to work. Over time, they will snap and you will be out of one hook that might be hard to replace. I will wait until this happens and then replace them with the true and tried plastic hooks from the 99 cent store. Plastic is also quieter when sliding the curtain too.

Very smooth gliding!

These Chrome Shower Curtain Hooks are very durable, attractive and glide very easily over my shower curtain rod. The metal balls are very smooth so they don't damage the rod and make it very easy to open and close the curtain. They are great once they are up but these hooks can initially be a a little bit hard to get on to the shower curtain. They don't open up very wide so you have to slip the curtain in between the metal. After you do it a few times, it becomes much easier. Update: These Hooks have held up really well over time. They havent rusted, scratched or become worn down. I'm extremely happy with these hooks and have purchased a set for my other bathroom.
