The film is laminated using a “thermoformable” floating lamination. Basically, it’s a protective gloss layer that can be formed to complex shapes using heat. Epoxy Gloss (interior) should not be compared with Tech Art (exterior). The visual aesthetic and effect are completely different. The scratch resistance of the Epoxy Gloss Carbon is extremely high when comparing it to it’s Exterior version. ## Features - Experience the NEW XPO series Tech Art vinyl for a hyper-realistic carbon fiber look! - May be used on interior parts ONLY; Area of Use: Interior of vehicles, trims, dash, cabinets, tables and more! - Surface: Super High Gloss finish with scratch protection coating. - Life: 10 years + - Thickness: 6.5 mils ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CD92QN7D | | Best Sellers Rank | #79,033 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #313 in Automobile Vinyl Wraps | | Brand Name | VViViD | | Color | Gold | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Car | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars (2,533) | | Exterior Finish | High Gloss | | Item Thickness | 6.5 Mils | | Manufacturer | VViViD | | Manufacturer Part Number | EpoxyHighGlossCarbonFiber1ftx5ftVV | | Material Type | Vinyl | | Model Number | EpoxyHighGlossCarbonFiber1ftx5ftVV | | Number of Items | 1 | | Size | 1FT X 5FT | | UPC | 628856063699 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** VViViD - **Colour:** Gold - **Exterior finish:** High Gloss - **Material:** Vinyl - **Size:** 1FT X 5FT ## Images ![VViViD Epoxy High Gloss Carbon Vinyl Automotive Wrap Film DIY Easy to Install No Mess (1ft x 5ft, Gold) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/717nbjc3E5L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: I'm having problems with curves and edges, anyone got any tips or tricks** A: There's absolutely nothing wrong with this wrap, you just need to be mindful about where you heat and how much you stretch. Don't rely on just heating and stretching to where you need it and call it a day. Your goal is to manipulate the vinyl so that it essentially shrinks back into the object your wrapping.. hugging it. When you're approaching the edge you need wrapped, apply your heat, grab the entire corner and stretch beyond where you need it. Once the edge has been covered, tuck under if possible, then apply heat again with the vinyl still stretched around the edge. You'll notice that it shrinks back and hugs your edge tightly. Trim off excess as necessary and don't forget about your post heating. **Q: Se puede utilizar para la carroceria del vehiculo?** A: Si claro sirve para todo tipo de superficie **Q: Can I order a roll of 1’ x 15’. ?** A: I've only used what has been available on Amazon. if you can find that size I guess the answer would be yes. **Q: how much material is needed to wrap a 2016 Ram 1500 big horn?.** A: The material varies greatly depending on how unitized each body segment is. Long uninterrupted peices of metal typically require a lot of waste material. I took a tale measure and added up length and width of metal on my car- added 20% and ran out of material by the time I got to the roof and had to do the roof piecemeal out of scraps. This wrap has cracked, shrank, and bubbled on my car and the wrap is barely 6 months old. ## Frequently Bought Together - VVIVID Epoxy High Gloss Carbon Vinyl Automotive Wrap Film DIY Easy to Install No Mess (1ft x 5ft, Gold) - Gomake Vehicle Vinyl Wrap Tool Kit Window Tinting Tool Include 4 Inch Felt Squeegee, Retractable 9mm Utility Knife and Blades, Zippy Vinyl Cutter and Mini Go Corner Squeegee for Car Wrapping - VViViD XPO Black Carbon Fiber 5ft x 1ft 8yr Car Wrap Vinyl Roll with Air Release --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/552690768-vvivid-epoxy-high-gloss-carbon-vinyl-automotive-wrap-film-diy](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/552690768-vvivid-epoxy-high-gloss-carbon-vinyl-automotive-wrap-film-diy) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
