Great weather Radio
This is a great little radio it has many functions lights , battery life ,cranking to charge the battery, it and also the solar panel for charging. This little radio is well worth the money. You can charge your phone even. The radio sounds great and easy to use the reception is excellent I put a piece of aluminum foil on the Antenna to bring in better reception even. The radio is small enough to put in a backpack, I have mine in my hurricane supplies. 5 star

Poor AM reception
The 1200 mah battery capacity is it's best feature. The two solar panels is an exceptional feature. However the best way to charge the battery is via the USB port. Searching for radio stations is a pain in the ear. The static is deafening. The first radio I received neither the NOAA or the AM band worked. Second one I received had excellent NOAA and FM reception, but no AM. The third one the FM was marginal, but still no AM reception. This weather radio had a lot of desirable features however in the end I gave up. The price is reasonable but the lack of AM reception made it not a good value. If AM is not a tie breaker for you then this weather radio is a very good value. I am just disappointed.

Nice product
The battery life is phenomenal, as should be expected with something advertised having 12000 mAh. Radio works well BUT READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Took me a minute to figure out why I kept being jumped back to the same station (user error). Flashlight could be a bit brighter but it definitely does the job as far as helping you see what u need to. Sound quality 6/10 but better than some car radios. Not too big, not too heavy. Great for the hiking pack 👍

AM band totally dysfunctional
The compass is generally 90 degrees off mark. This design is almost an antique. I remember a clip-on version of this 3o years ago that would attach to one's wrist watch band. The manufacturer can do better than this. The device seemed to charge OK with USB C. I did not test solar or hand crank charge. The flashlights and reading light worked OK.The FM band auto scan seemed to work OK. I live in a metro area of about 1.25 million and the scan identified and saved 30 stations! (Scan was made inside my house). However the AM band auto scan was a different matter: as the scanner moved from 530 KHZ to 1710 KHZ not a single station was found; on a repeat trial a single station was found but that trial ended at 1710 KHZ with "ERR"! and no stations were saved. I moved the device outside of my house and repeated the AM band auto scan, with the same results: no stations found, or a single station found with "ERR" reported at the end of the scan. Totally unacceptable.Auto scan of WB found and saved 1 station.I really wanted the AM band to work so I emailed the seller, describing my findings and requesting any help they could give me. Unfortunately, after five days there is no response from their customer service.Total non-function of AM band and lack of customer support are deal-breakers as far as I am concerned, and I am returning the device to Amazon.com.

Good battery. Good radio.
This little radio is more than just a radio, it has power and flashlight. It's got a super strong battery that charges three ways, with the sun, a hand crank, and also a USB. That means even if the power goes out, I'll still be able to hear important weather alerts or get help if you need it. It also doubles as a flashlight, a reading light, and even has an SOS alarm if in trouble. The display is easy to read and the sound is surprisingly clear, even when I'm using it outside. It's a little bulky, but I don't mind because it's worth it for all the features it comes with. If you're looking for an emergency radio that can do it all, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Radio barely works - but good for charging and reading lamp
I bought this to replace a cheaper emergency radio that was damaged during a move. Unfortunately, the radio portion barely works indoors. I can only get the FM bands to work inside. For AM I have to go outside... and I can't get the NOAA bands to work at all (which kind of defeats the purpose of an emergency radio). The flashlight on the front is pretty good, with three different settings (it's not going to replace a high quality flashlight, but will do in a pinch). I do like that there is not only a double-wide solar panel on the top, but also an extra pull-out solar panel. The lantern/reading light is super bright as well. And I like that you can charge using both regular USB and USB-C ports. The digital display works well and there is also a hand crank if you have no other way to charge in an emergency. There is a headphone jack - though many people don't have that style of headphones anymore - you can also pair with bluetooth. There is also a dinky cheap compass (these seem to be the same no matter what brand of emergency radio). If you're buying this specifically for the WB/NOAA channels - don't. If you want something that will charge your devices and doesn't require an electronic source to charge back up (and also doubles as a light/flashlight) - then go for it.
