Has lots of space and durable
Bought for my son since he’s been traveling for work. He loves it. He states it holds his Play Station, weekend worth of clothes, work computer, controllers, and headphones. He says the strap around chest really helps. It fits under a Southwest airline seat. It’s sturdy and he really likes the deep blue color.

Before using- might be my perfect travel backpack
Super excited to actually use this and I’ll add comments after that, but in the meantime: Love the color- it will stand out without being hideous. The suitcase style opening allows easy packing and, to my mind, allows more belongings to be packed because there’s no lost room at the top of each side of the clamshell style. Also much easier to pack than top-only tube style if pack. Not so many pockets that I’ll loose track of where I packed what items and the ones included are really helpful. One pocket inside main packing area for wet items. One expandable outside pocket for a water bottle and an elastic cord near it to make it even more secure (although I think it’s meant to be used for something else) Large external pocket for straps- roomy enough to store items. I’ll probably use it for travel documents to keep them handy and very secure. One padded laptop sleeve within a roomy pocket exterior pocket. I don’t travel with a laptop so I’ll remove the padding to give me more room One smaller outside pocket for frequently needed easy-to-grab items-glasses, book… Top and side handles Stitching looks well done and nice big zippers. All around seems well constructed and thoroughly thought-out design. After I use it I’ll update.

Hynes Eagle backpack/fanny pack/item organizer
It’s good quality! Lots of padding & several compartments for storage. Easy to adjust and comes in a variety of warm to earth tone type colors to choose from. I got this with the Backpack & storage compartments from the same brand - Hynes Eagle. If you haven’t tried their backpacks along with this fanny bag, I highly recommend the brand! Well constructed, comes in a variety of sizes & built to last. I bought these for use on trips. The backpacks ARE carry on permissible and are a great fit! Included photos are of the backpack & the backpack item inserts.

great pack for travel, uncomfortable straps
I purchased 3 of these for a 2 week trip to the UK for my family. The backpacks were very easy to pack especially with the set of zippered pouches. We each carried one backpack and one personal bag. Although it was very easy to travel with the backpacks, we discovered after the first day that the shoulder straps are very uncomfortable and the waist strap is flimsy. The fabric on the inside surface of the straps is rough and uncomfortable even through a shirt, and there is not nearly enough padding for over the shoulders. We all were finding creative ways of padding our shoulders and chests after carrying the packs the first week. We only had to carry the packs as we moved from place to place which would include a possible 20 min walk to a subway or train station. My teenage son, who surprisingly rarely complains, absolutely hated the pack by the end of the trip. He does about 3 backpacking/camping trips a year so he is used to carrying a pack long distances. We chose these packs because the size met the flight regulations for Aer Lingus carry-on luggage, and because they open like a suitcase instead of having to pack from the top. All in all, I would recommend this pack for traveling if you can find a way to pad the straps as that was the only issue we had.

I was satisfied and pleased with the quality of this
Our family got four these packs to use for international trip. They served us well. The size of the bag meets international carry on size requirements (if not overstuffed). Check your airline for your ticket category -- even though there is a "standard", 3 airlines had three requirements that were close to the same, but not exactly the same. This is not a big bag, but we got what we needed into the bag for a 2+ week trip to Europe (and did laundry there)! The ability to skip waiting for your bag and walk right through customs is a huge time-saver! I was satisfied and pleased with the quality of this. I would recommend this pack. Detailed Description & Commentary * There is a large pocket where you are supposed to put most of your gear. * The large inside pocket has internal compression straps. One compression strap on one of the four packs broke :-( . The cover of the large inside pocket has a net back. These are in addition to the external compression straps pictured. * There is a zippable-pocket into which the backpack straps can be stowed. The small rings to which the straps clip (at the bottom of the bag) remain outside the pack after the straps are zipped. I worry they could get caught if the bag got checked. It would be easy to rig something to tie these clips inside. The padded straps include a sternum strap. * There are two outside pockets for your stuff (in addition to the strap pocket). * One pocket is pretty large and intended for a (good size) laptop. This pocket has some embedded padding, fuzzy fabric and a velcro(R)-style strip to secure a laptop. I used the pocket for ipad + keyboard, kindle, travel papers that needed to be handy, and a bag of misc stuff. This pocket can have a vertical height of 1-2 inches. This pocket seemed plenty big. * The last external pocket is a small pocket (between 5"x7" and 11"x8" in size). I used it to carry a small note book, this pocket does not expand vertically. * The bag also features external compression straps. These are very useful to get an inch or two more of vertical space if needed. They worked well for us. The compression straps attach below the large external pocket (where you might have your laptop). That means that the contents of the "large external pocket" are not compressed (OK), and also that when compressed the zipper on this pocket is stressed perpendicular to the direction of the zipper. I worry that this could lead to zipper failure. The bag did not come with a lock, but we bought a TSA "mini-cable" lock. Routing the "mini cable" though the holes at the end of the zipper pulls for the main compartment and the "large external pocket" allows these areas to be "secured". We did not purchase the packing cubes. The overall quality seems good (broken internal strap noted). From my perspective, this back has definitely quality improvements over some cheaper, but similar bags that i purchased, but ended up returning. Each member of my family used this backpack and was pleased with theirs. To be clear, the straps on this bag allow you to lug the pack around a city/subway system -- we walked distances of 1 mile or more with them on our backs. However, if i was backpacking for miles on rugged trails, then a purpose-built backpack would be appropriate over this backpack style suitcase. Again, this is a recommended backpack and our family was satisfied with it on our trip to Europe.

Way Better Than I Expected!! Best Travel Bag Ever!!
Wow, this backpack does the job! I purchased it so I could travel lightly whenever I went on trips, and it comes through every time. I've found I can pack it full and it always seems to have enough room for everything I could need. I've brought it on flights with a LOT of items inside, packed full, and have never had any problems going through security or getting on the flight. I was worried someone might ask me to weigh it to ensure it complies with carry-on weight standards, but I've never had this happen. Though the backpack is packed full, it still looks relatively small when it's on your back so I don't think anyone would ever really stop you to ask you to weigh it. That's just my assumption though. My absolute favorite part of this bag is the detachable straps that allow you to conceal. It has a pouch at the top of the back where you can slide the backpack straps in and then the bag just becomes a makeshift suitcase. This SERIOUSLY comes in handy when you've reached your destination and just need a simple pack to hold all your stuff without the annoying backpack straps flopping everywhere. I haven't found it useful on the plane though because it gets difficult to put the straps in their home with a lot of stuff packed in your bag. However if you are a hardcore light packer it will probably come in handy on the plane if you're trying to make everything more compact. My second favorite feature is the laptop pouch, its the second pouch on the front of the bag where there's space for a laptop/books/whatnot. I usually pack this compartment with stuff I need to access on the flight and it really comes in handy because I don't have to actually open the full bag to get useful things like my books or laptop. I usually through in my 13" Macbook Air, its charger, two books, headphones, and sometimes a journal too. You can fit a lot in there and its very accessible. My only complaint is the lack of a side pouch for a water bottle or other things you might need to have on hand. This does get annoying, but realistically I do understand why the bag doesn't have one due to its opening style (like a suitcase, not top-loading... which is AWESOME and super convenient. I've used this for camping, quick trips and longer vacations and have ALWAYS been happy with the usefulness of this bag! As the rest of my family is struggling with clunky luggage and check-in fees, I just throw on this backpack and am good to go anywhere :)

Love this bag.....only wish it had wheels!!
I bought this bag for a couple of trips I took in 2018. Liked: Size, love the fact that it opens like a suitcase and not like a backpack. For the color it is, it doesn't seem to hold onto dirt. I think it's well made, tons of places to put (and hide) stuff. Lightweight, straps are strong. Love that I can use as a backpack or carry like a suitcase. Could be better: if it had wheels. Sometimes when I have my computer, it gets a bit heavy. I bought a travel companion that has wheels, but I have to take the bag off of it in order to store my bag. Not a deal breaker but would certainly enhance the product greatly. Overall, i'm VERY HAPPY with my bag. Oh...I've traveled for about 7 days or so with this bag. I don't carry a lot of stuff. I am very practical and striving to be a minimalist!!! :)

This is a great carry on bag.
Fits everything needed for 5-6 days for one adult. It opens like a suitcase so you get max space use. I was able to get 5 pairs of pants/shorts, 5 shirts, 5 pairs undies,a dress, a pair of shoes, and my big makeup/meds bag in the main compartment. The outside compartments held my earbuds, hearing aids, wallet, phone and charger. No zipper issues so far. Didn't have any weird smells. Came to 15 lbs fully loaded. Fits overhead just fine. The handle to carry it is a nice touch.

perfect for what I wanted
perfect for what I wanted, small enough to meet American airlines carry on regs, lite enough so I could pack it to the max carry on weight limit, inexpensive, and delivered on time as promised. Nothing broke on my vacation and it is still in use but given its lite weight and price point, I don't think this item is intended to be checked into airplane luggage as it might not survive the rough baggage handling. However it did survive the rough handling on my back ;-)

Check all the zips before you go on holiday
I bought 3 backpacks for our trip to Europe. Unfortunately I didn't check the zips worked when the order arrived. My backpack didn't even make it out of the house before it broke. Packed the carry on for the flight, went to put the passport in the front pocket and the zip was useless. Too late to get another case, luckily the main zip lasted the trip. No problem with the other two bags.

A great quality cabin bag with affordable price 👍🏼
Excellent bag. Every detail is same as described. Delivered quickly. Could fit 5 piars clothes, laptop and some other travel gear. (7-8kgs) Great size for a cabin bag so you could use every inch of it. Couldn’t find a better alternative when you’re on a 4-5 days vacation. Can fit upto 10kgs if you are backpacking. Super satisfied. Thanks Amazon for bringing beautiful products into Australia with affordable prices!
