Honestly, it's hard to illustrate just how bright these lights are. So bright it's almost impossible to stare at them from close in. To put it in some perspective, I just installed a 200w high bay garage light in my 8ft garage ceiling as a more intense area work-light than the 48" LED tubes around the rest of the garage. I got a little excited about putting bright lights everywhere, as a consequence.Point is, that high bay 200w light was intensely bright, easily overpowering any other light from 6-8' away. I thought that was some intense LED action. THESE ARE AT LEAST TWICE OVER, perhaps more, intense even, than that light. Like nuclear bright. Like aim them wrong and you "turn the neighbor into an insomniac and that side of their house fades faster than the other three sides' – bright.I suspect two of these next to your garage door could be seen from low earth orbit. It would not surprise me if they were subsequently used by planes as a navigation tool for cross-country flights. Perhaps even bright enough to change the reproductive cycle of livestock and diurnal plants in your corner of the county.Okay, I kid. But they're very bright. They can be aimed precisely, and are well-thought-out in that regard. Just don't aim them at the neighbor's bedroom window, unless you really don't like them. Easy install with regular three-prong 110v plugs.Guaranteed to give nighttime country marauders and thieves something to consider before they make off with your barn's contents. They might as well come during the day, it might actually be less bright.

Simple bright plug in light. No dusk to dawn or motion sensors. Plugs into regular outlet with no on light on/off switch so best utilized with a light switch controlled outlet. Well made sturdy.

Every motion detecting light I have ever purchased has had to be wired in... such a pain and expensive. When they stop working, or there is better technology, it is a pretty big investment to change them out. I had no idea they were making LED flood lamps you can plug in and I am exceedingly pleased.My plan is to use one at our cow barn and the other at our horse barn. Since it gets super dusty and the spider webs get intense this is going to work out great because I can take them down to clean them.This is something I can do myself and won't have to bug my husband to do or hire an electrician.I initially rated it at a four because the back had "wings" and I figured it would be a dust collector but my husband and son had a good laugh at me when I told them what I didn't like about it.. Apparently it is a heat sink and very important. I upgraded to a five because it is very well made and it is incredibly bright.The only consideration is to placement and make sure it will be a good place for a cord. I anticiapte we will be seeing more corded lights - especially outside lights as it makes sense.. Love the LED.. perfect for spooking the wild critters hoping for a chicken dinner!

My dog thought something was in the yard. In the pitch-black area that begs for lighting. Fortunately, I had this light on hand and grabbed an extension cord so we could search for it. Walking through the yard, I looked like a proper searchlight. No area retained its secrets, as each area was thoroughly lit up and no wayward marmots located. This light is bright and the ability to decide what position it takes is convenient especially when it's anchored. It can be straight on or the sides can be bent in order to The housing is solid and withstands wet and cold conditions with no problems.

The lights are metal and have cooling fins on the back, but the box and attachment screw holes and the 90° connectors are plastic. The screw tabs are fairly thick and I haven't had any cracks or breaks while installing mine. The mounting box is "suitable for wet locations".The center light can adjust up and down only. But the two side lights can swing forward and back and twist up and down independantly. The leds are bright!2 screws into a wall or post, plug them in and ... light! Easy installation! They could be taken camping if you have a generator. These are nice lights, easy plug-in wiring, long cords, no switches, no motion sensors, no remotes.

This is just a light. There is no motion detection, no dusk to dawn, not even an on off switch. You plug it in, and it is on. It's exactly what I needed over a workbench and in my barn wash rack area.If you need a bright light where you do have an outlet, and don't feel like running wires, this is a great choice. It doesn't get any easier to install. Two screws and you are done. Technically, it's slightly more difficult than that. You do need a phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screw and adjust the angle of the main light. The two side lights can be positioned by hand.But it's that easy. I can't speak for the longevity of the LED's. Only time will tell with that. I've been disappointed by a lot of LED lights, so I will be curiously awaiting that outcome.
