Highly recommended. Our 6 year old was able to do the entire process without any help. There is a lot of cute stuff included: 20 bottles that are thick and weighted so they don't fall over, corks are easy for little hands and air tight so no leaking, lots of glittery, pretty things to make each bottle a work of art, plus labels, funnels and bonus butterflies. Materials come in resealable containers. Very little mess. A plate works nicely as a work surface. It even comes with little shelves to display the potions. Hours of entertainment. Lovely props for pretending. This is a great gift. The only confusing thing is that it is called Fairy Potions but there are two witch drawings inside.

With enough supplies to make 20 different potions, it kept my daughter completely enchanted for hours as she mixed glitter, crystals, and 'unicorn horns' into the little PET plastic bottles. What I appreciate most is the durability and high-quality material with a variety of material included—you get everything from pink crystals and tiger's eye to tiny funnels and a magic wand. The instruction book is very user-friendly with clear pictures, though my favorite part was seeing her use the blank labels to invent her own unique 'recipes'. Its colorful, shiny and such a fairy fun time! '. Just a heads-up: it does involve glitter and water, so it's best to use a tray to keep the cleanup easy! Such a great price!

This has given my daughter hours of fun. She really enjoys open ended and creative toys like this- this kit is perfect for any kid who enjoys whimsical themes or fairies! It comes with a lot of materials… but can be managed to all be restored back in the box it came which I really appreciate! I also feel like it’s suitable for a wide range of ages.

Got these as an activity for my 11 year old daughter's fairy-themed birthday party. Didn't get to use them that day but she and her best friend made them another day and loved them! I actually sat down and made a few as well and had a lot of fun too. They come with cute "ingredients" and sticker labels but we had fun supplementing these with our own tiny crystals, clear beads, glitter and other craft supplies. The bottles are plastic but once they are filled they feel really sturdy like glass! And the stoppers are some kind of dense rubber or soft plastic, not cork, which is nice because natural cork will eventually harden and become crumbly. The bottoms of the heart and rounded bottles are a little unstable, which makes them wobble a bit, but they still stand upright if left alone. Not particularly difficult for kids to do, but the bottles are tiny and require a steady enough hand not to spill when filling them so probably better for kids around 8 and up, unless they have really good fine motor skills or don't mind you helping them. Overall a SUPER cute kit and great gift for the fairy lover in your life. I plan on ordering another one!

Fun activity with plenty of items to use. However, there is no waterproof seal or way of permanently closing bottles. Bought for 7 and 10 year old.

Girls of all ages seem to love this set. My group was 3-10 and everyone had fun. You could probably assemble a bunch of mini vials and glitters yourself but this set has a nice variety and the presentation is pretty cute.

I bought the Alritz Fairy Potions Kit as a gift for my daughter, and it was an absolute hit. The moment she opened it, she was completely enchanted. The little bottles, colors, and “magic mix” pieces sparked so much imagination and kept her entertained way longer than I expected. She loved creating her own fairy potions and coming up with stories for each one, and I loved that it encouraged creativity and pretend play instead of screen time.
