The camera overall has been good. The PTZ functionality is when recording video. The remote and Tongveo app allows for the camera PTZ functions to controlled fluidly. The camera's video displays in 4K with good detail and zoom capabilities. When connecting the camera with a Tongveo joystick, it enhances the camera functionality even more. The camera setup is mostly plug and play with the usb 3.0 cable provided. If you setup the camera by IP, it is straight forward once you download the Tongveo software. The device can be power by poe as well which is an add benefit as well when connecting it to a network. The camera is definitely worth it. I purchased a second because of how well the first camera performed.

If you're looking for a beginner-friendly PTZ camera that doesn't burn a hole in your wallet, this is a good one to start with. The biggest benefit was how easy it was to set up and just plug-and-play on my Mac with OBS. The picture quality is pretty good and sharp, but if you're in an environment with dynamic light conditions, you may need to make manual adjustments or set up appropriate filters in your streaming software. I haven't tried it in a low-light environment yet, so it remains to be seen if the quality is consistent there. There's a bit of lag with responding to the remote control, but you get used to it after a while. Setting the presets was easy. I wish there was a better way to control the speed of the camera's movement, as the default speed is a bit fast and jerky for my liking, but I guess that's what a joystick controller is for. I'm also curious to see if it will work with the PTZ plugin in OBS, so I will update this as soon as I experiment with it.

I purchased 4K Tongveo Camera for my podcast studio and they are absolutely awesome. The picture quality is very crisp and the software is easy to understand. The customer service is also really responsive, I had an issue with one of my camera and they took care of it in a timely manner. I will be purchasing an additional 4th Tongveo soon.

The camera itself is of great quality. The movement and installation of the mounting hardware was very simple. The problem came when it was time to connect the camera to the computer via the installer and controls. The link they give you for the download and installer is not a viable option and cannot be accessed in any form whether through phone, tablet, or computer. The website (Tongveo.com) shows that there is 24/7 support ready through both email and phone. The phone number does not work and the email support never gets a response. While it may seem like a good system for the money you will spend, the hassle you will go through is more than most would ever want to go through. I would suggest buying an OBSBOT Tail 2 or some other live streaming camera with better support options and easier use and installation. It is unfortunate to spend this money to have to turn around and return the camera. Lesson learned and will not purchase anything from this company again.

Con i tasti (0-9) è possibile salvare 10 posizioni preimpostate con il telecomando IR. Basta impostare la telecamera PTZ nella posizione richiesta e poi premere uno dei numeri 0-9 e l'impostazione è completa. Un telecomando IR può controllare fino a 3 telecamere PTZ. Sicuramente ci troviamo davanti a un prodotto professionale anche se ci sono videocamere con caratteristiche ancora più avanzate (come il riconoscimento facciale), che però fanno lievitare il prezzo di molto. Per concludere: Crediamo che sia un ottimo prodotto anche dal punto di vista dei materiali. Il contenuto tecnologico è in linea con la fascia prezzo di appartenenza, considerando i circa 200 € che servono per poterla ricevere a casa. I ordered this camera from Amazon to update our church live streaming system. It arrived within two days on a delivery that required a passcode to be given to the courier which felt very secure for a high value item. Previously I have used 3 standard fixed focus webcams with OBS software for our church services, but wanted the ability to zoom in, realign the camera and have higher resolution images. ON opening the camera feels heavy and well made and the camera fits the brief perfectly. We will be ordering a second one so that the aligning and focussing can be done out of main program in the OBS preview pane. I have successfully used both the USB and Ethernet interfaces and used the camera with Zoom, OBS and the Microsoft camera App. The image quality is incredibly clear and the movements, zoom function and autofocus are all quicker that other cameras I have used. I have trialled it from the back of our church and used the presets to capture various views e.g. altar, pulpit, lectern, window war memorial etc. I attach a video of this along with a picture from the back of church showing test camera location and screenshots from OBS. I am delighted with my purchase and the customer support from Tongveo and will be ordering more of these. The three year guarantee also gives added peace of mind. If you are looking for a good quality PTZ camera with a range of interfaces and 20x Zoom then I would recommend this as it is much cheaper than some of the more familiar brands.
