The camera overall has been good. The PTZ functionality is when recording video. The remote and Tongveo app allows for the camera PTZ functions to controlled fluidly. The camera's video displays in 4K with good detail and zoom capabilities. When connecting the camera with a Tongveo joystick, it enhances the camera functionality even more. The camera setup is mostly plug and play with the usb 3.0 cable provided. If you setup the camera by IP, it is straight forward once you download the Tongveo software. The device can be power by poe as well which is an add benefit as well when connecting it to a network. The camera is definitely worth it. I purchased a second because of how well the first camera performed.

I purchased 4K Tongveo Camera for my podcast studio and they are absolutely awesome. The picture quality is very crisp and the software is easy to understand. The customer service is also really responsive, I had an issue with one of my camera and they took care of it in a timely manner. I will be purchasing an additional 4th Tongveo soon.

The camera itself is of great quality. The movement and installation of the mounting hardware was very simple. The problem came when it was time to connect the camera to the computer via the installer and controls. The link they give you for the download and installer is not a viable option and cannot be accessed in any form whether through phone, tablet, or computer. The website (Tongveo.com) shows that there is 24/7 support ready through both email and phone. The phone number does not work and the email support never gets a response. While it may seem like a good system for the money you will spend, the hassle you will go through is more than most would ever want to go through. I would suggest buying an OBSBOT Tail 2 or some other live streaming camera with better support options and easier use and installation. It is unfortunate to spend this money to have to turn around and return the camera. Lesson learned and will not purchase anything from this company again.

I was charged with obtaining a new camera to support my church's livestream. Prior to that task, I wasn't aware of PTZ cameras, but my research led me to this one as being an appropriate camera to meet our needs. I'm glad that I found Tongveo. It's a GREAT PTZ camera at an exceptional price and backed by world class technical support.The camera is placed at the back of the sanctuary which is about 60 feet from the pulpit. With a 20x zoom, it does an excellent job of zooming in on the speaker. As part of the service we like to zoom the entire sanctuary so that our livestream viewers can see everyone. By setting up 4 presets (back left, front left, front right, and back right) we can easily pan the entire congregation and return to the pulpit preset. While the presets are nice, the camera easily zooms to the unexpected scene that we want to present.We were able to easily incorporate the camera into our livestream capability. The camera needs to be placed behind the cameraperson since the remote only works when pointed to the front of the camera. This caused us to connect it with a 16' active USB cable. Upon connecting to the computer, it was quickly recognized by our OBS streaming software. We simply added it to one of our scenes and it was ready to go.After almost 2 months of use we started to experience the camera freezing during one Sunday service. Tongveo technical support suggested it was likely either the USB port, USB cable, or camera. I was expecting it to take a while to determine the problem with the likelihood of not having the camera available for the following Sunday service, but was pleasantly surprised to see Tongveo willing to send us a replacement camera in parallel with our testing the USB port and cable. The replacement camera arrived on Wednesday, which gave us plenty of time to be ready for the upcoming Sunday service. It turned out that the new camera solved the problem so that our livestream never missed a beat. Way to go Tongveo!!!I have no problem recommending that anyone needing a 20x PTZ camera consider this one.

I ordered this camera from Amazon to update our church live streaming system. It arrived within two days on a delivery that required a passcode to be given to the courier which felt very secure for a high value item. Previously I have used 3 standard fixed focus webcams with OBS software for our church services, but wanted the ability to zoom in, realign the camera and have higher resolution images. ON opening the camera feels heavy and well made and the camera fits the brief perfectly. We will be ordering a second one so that the aligning and focussing can be done out of main program in the OBS preview pane. I have successfully used both the USB and Ethernet interfaces and used the camera with Zoom, OBS and the Microsoft camera App. The image quality is incredibly clear and the movements, zoom function and autofocus are all quicker that other cameras I have used. I have trialled it from the back of our church and used the presets to capture various views e.g. altar, pulpit, lectern, window war memorial etc. I attach a video of this along with a picture from the back of church showing test camera location and screenshots from OBS. I am delighted with my purchase and the customer support from Tongveo and will be ordering more of these. The three year guarantee also gives added peace of mind. If you are looking for a good quality PTZ camera with a range of interfaces and 20x Zoom then I would recommend this as it is much cheaper than some of the more familiar brands.
